Describe your creative process.
LOGO & BRANDING: My creative process starts with you, the client. I take your ideas and themes and build a mood board for myself including imagery / designs that fit the vibe of your brief and brand, taking into consideration your target market and product/service. From this inspiration, I then finalise a one of a kind original design that will give you the desired aesthetic you're looking for.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
LOGO & BRANDING: I ask my clients to provide me with the name of their brand and perhaps 3-5 images of other logo/ branding examples they like with why you like them. I ask that you give me your target market, a brief sentence outlining the work you do and any other information you find relevant. If you find that it would be beneficial, can I also have your story of how the brand originated and your goals for the future. This will help me create a logo design that is timeless and stays relevant to your company over the years.
For items such as flyer design and layouts I will need know the dimensions of the final product and its use.
For all design work, please outline in your brief if it is for print or web and if there are any specific formats you would like me to save the work for you.
What do you love most about your job?
The creative freedom to make work that I love and I enjoy the variety of all my clients and their stories. It's very fulfilling to create something unique and special for my clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Life is too short to waste time not doing what you love.
