Biddenden
From lived experience, I empathise strongly - but not exclusively - with those who identify as LGBTQi+ and also recognise and value the spiritual dimension to life for those for whom it is important. Relationships, past and present, I believe are key.

What do you love most about your job?
By connecting with others, human to human, I get a lot of fulfilment by working together to help make a real and lasting difference to the quality of an individual's life through a process which enables self-understanding, acceptance and personal growth.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I felt a need to start a whole new chapter in my life instead of just sleep walking into retirement, and choosing to retrain as a counsellor and psychotherapist was a way of usefully pulling together my life experiences, and of fulfilling a life-long dream to make a difference in a way that other therapists have done for me.
Why should our clients choose you?
I know myself to have a warm personality and to be someone who genuinely cares about the person in front of me. You can trust me to be a 'safe pair of hands' with whom you might share your innermost thoughts and feelings. I do not sit in judgement but provide a safe space in which for you to be yourself and to tell it how it is. I seek only to enable you truly to know, accept and love your authentic self, and to become more hopeful for your future.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I am happy to meet with clients remotely online. I choose to use Zoom as one of the more digitally 'safe' platforms available.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Only relevant to those with whom I meet in person, of course, but sitting in chairs which are socially distant is key, as is applying a commonsense approach by minimising contact, and by testing and refraining from meeting whenever either of us tests positive for COVID-19 and / or expects to be infectious.
