About

I am a Physical therapist, with over 15yrs experience specialising in Remedial, Sports, Deep tissue and classic massage.

In 1999 after completing an ITEC massage course I decided take an advanced course in anatomy which required that I do a simple research task measuring the hydration of the spine by taking height measurements first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The results fascinated me. I was on average 1-1.5cm taller at the beginning of the day. I was hooked and have been doing Physical therapy ever since.

I have also worked in the support field, advocating for marginalised groups, for housing and legal rights as well as signposting them to organisations that would support their other needs such as drug / alcohol abuse, mental health or learning disabilities. This experience has given me understanding of many of the stresses people face in everyday life, and the skills to help

My hope is that I may be able to us my knowledge and ability to
• Create an environment where healing has an opportunity to take place on a physical and psycho-social level
• Empower individuals to have a better understanding of their bodies

Parenting, dealing with bereavement, experiencing illness, juggling conflicting priorities, working with marginalised individuals, finding spiritual understanding in Buddhism & Kabbalah, and fifteen years working as a Physical therapist has given me a unique skill set which I want to utilise to create value for myself, and my clients.
