My wife was taken ill very suddenly and I was looking for someone to walk our seven year old labrador dog for about an hour most days of the week. We contacted Liam Camber Training Services and discussed our needs and were lucky that a young active young lady called Kelly rang us and arranged to take ben out the next day to see if he liked her and she liked him. It was a match made in heaven Ben loved Kelly and I think Kelly took a shine to Ben. Since Kelly started taking Ben out she has been prompt to arrive on the agreed time and equally prompt to arrive home. Kelly obviously loves what she does she is caring and thinks of the comfort of Ben at all times if it is too hot she is flexible with the time she picks him up and returns him. Ben is an older dog so she is careful not to overdo his exercise and he loves going out with her in fact he seems to know when she is arriving he gets very excited. I was looking for a dog walker to walk my American bully cross Dakota who is 2 years old as I work full time in the community around Mansfield I came cross Liam camber training services and a young lady got in touch I asked if she could come and meet Dakota to see if they got along when she came she was a pleasant young lady and Dakota liked her straight away it was a match made in heaven Kelly explained what she does and I told her what I was after I was after 2 walks a day a hour long each we agreed on times and Kelly is really flexible Kelly is always on time and Dakota sits and waits for her at the door kelly always informs me to where she has been and what they do when they go for a walk this young is amazing with Dakota and will always go out her way to help I’m so pleased I came across liam camber and kelly I can’t recommend them enough

Absolutely amazing trainer, I was getting to the point where I started to think there was nothing I could do with my Cocker Spainel he was like a whirl wind until Liam saved the day. Liam helped train my GP dog Arnia. He made training fun and interesting and she was constantly improving. I have a GSD that didn't make it as a GP dog due to his temperament being unpredictable and him not letting anybody near him. Liam worked really hard with us and managed to gain Zacs trust to the point he could touch my shoulder or pass keys to me or stand close to me without Zac lunging and barking at him. It got to a point where we both realised Zac wouldnt make a gp dog but Liam never gave up on him and helped him start to relax around people . Liam also helped to start my younger dog off for gp training. Liam is always at the end of the phone for me if I need help and advice. I also past my k9 first aid training certificate with Liam. Fantastic training can’t recommend liam highly enough no only does he work alongside both you and your dog he takes his time to get the best results for you my rescue gsd has only had a few lessons with liam and the he’s already like a different dog

I cannot recomend liam highly enough. He is such a knowledgeable, helpful instructor who helps bring the best out of you and your dog and work with you at your own pace. He is always there for advise and support with fun engaging classes, if anyone is on the fence about trying him honestly just do it! You will not regret it. My boy has only had a few sessions with Liam and can see such a huge difference in him already. Diesel took to it amazingly and the pride you feel seeing your dog learn each week is a feeling like no other. What do you love most about your job?
I find great comfort and satisfaction from helping owners achieve the best results from their pets, and helping them to resolve frustrations that have restricted them from enjoying quality time together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I left the military after 10 years and one of my passions whilst serving was working and training dogs from all kinds of backgrounds to working standards. After leaving the military I worked on a self-employed basis in a variety of security roles but enjoyed none as much as I enjoy working with dogs. I then decided that I would set up my own business and make sure that I would aim to help anyone that needed my guidance.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As most of my dog training is outside based, there has been the introduction of extended distances between the client and myself. Hand sanitisers and face masks are also used throughout the training sessions and whilst using the clients equipment such as leads, dog toys, treats etc. I ensure that I wear gloves whilst interacting with these items to minimise the risk of transmission.

What is obedience training?
Obedience training is made up of many different exercises and training methods.
Basic Obedience

6. Game playing ( to focus the dogs mind )
Advanced Obedience

K9 & Pet First Aid Training
Pet/Canine First Aid (P/CFA RFQ)
This is one of the UK’s leading courses in First Aid which is specifically set out for pets and canines. Employers have been increasingly searching for current and future employees to be able to demonstrate this skill set typically sought after in Dog Handlers.
This course will enable you to deal with Pet First Aid and is suitable for pet owners (either individually or as a family), supervisors, managers, team leaders and appointed persons who will be fulfilling these First Aid requirements.

• Pet accidents and First Aid
• CPR
• Drowning
• Fractures
• Catastrophic Bleeding
• Common Injuries

Liam Camber Training Services will deliver an exceptional course that will leave you with the required skills and understanding that you can incorporate into your current and future employment.
This is a one day course and lunch will not be provided; however refreshments will be made available for students such as tea and coffee.
Suitable clothing must be worn by students as this course involves interaction. You must also supply your own face coverings in line with current government guidance unless you are exempt.
Puppy Training
The puppy training programme is a 12 week one-to-one training program that will help your puppy from its early years progress towards its young adult stages. The programme will consist of a variety of different training exercises to ensure you get the best training results for you and your puppy, training will consist of:

Dog Reaction Training
What does Dog Reaction Training Mean?
Dog Reaction Training deals with dogs that have developed issues regarding reactions towards a variety of situations such as people and other dogs. It allows the dogs to be exposed to those reaction situations and trained to have a more balanced and stable approach to ensure they are no longer a reaction situation, they are in turn changed to a social interaction.
