Approached Lewis for PT as a recreational runner having never even lifted a dumbbell in my life. I wanted to improve my marathon times and knew I needed to get stronger.
I did some basic body weight exercises but thought I needed more.
Lewis was great as a PT who devised a plan that was specific for my needs. The exercises were fun and varied. It was pitched at the right level. Lewis was perfect as a trainer. Not too pushy or like the overly motivated Peloton trainers. Me and my wife did 11 sessions with him and they were quite enjoyable which is something I didn’t think they would be!
The results were great. I knocked 50 seconds off my 10k time. I feel like a stronger runner and going through this experience has also helped me learn about strength training so I can continue at home.

I was nervous about signing up with a personal trainer but reluctantly agreed to join Lewis’ sessions with my husband for 10 weeks. He was helpful, supportive, friendly and encouraging. Pushing us a little bit each week so after 10 weeks there was a noticeable improvement in our fitness. Definitely recommend. More...
