If you want to train and get fit in a friendly and modern Gym then this is it. There is a sense of community here and everyone supports each otherLloyd and James are the best instructors in Basingstoke (plus fully certified Gym Jones Instructors) and ensure you work harder than you thought you could. The group sessions are a great way of getting back into training and this is where the sense of community really shows. We have completed Tough Mudders and Brutal Runs as a community something that most of us would never have even thought of before we joined The Ministry Gym.If you want a challenge then Friday FYF is something you will not forget. If you want to read a book on a recumbent bike this place isn't for you. If you want to break the inertia and actually achieve your goals, whatever they may be, then the Ministry is where you'll do it. You are a product of the company you keep and nowhere will you find a more determined and hard working group who are fully welcoming of newcomers who bear the same attitude. Lloyd, Pete and James are probably the most knowledgable and dedicated instructors I have met as a collective and they breed a can do attitude that has quite obviously rubbed off on their clients. Best gym and instructors in Basingstoke who are fully supportive of all of their members. They have built a real community of likeminded individuals who all share the same work mentality. Group workouts are a great way to get back into fitness and building your confidence to also train on your own. Making new friends is a bonus to. I have found a new love for the gym and exercise in general and couldn’t recommend this place enough. More...

A great place to train where you will be pushed, encouraged and educated. The Ministry Gym has a great feel to it - white washed walls, black floor - a space where you can really go to work in, outfitted with the best equipment. The staff are at the top of their game and unlike most trainers - these guys 100% walk the walk. If you want to train in a place where you will be made to feel at ease, work hard, learn and have fun then this is the place. I would train under their guidance every damn day of the week. More...

I’ve tried all the local gyms in the area. As a 28yo I find most mainstream gyms are full of vanity. Here I’ve found they are so inclusive, all about getting fit and healthy! It’s definitely more upmarket than a chain gym, all about the community, classes, and PT training sessions! So happy I took one of their limited memberships! Highly recommended! More...

If training is important to you then the gym you train at will be too!! I’ve recently become a member of The Ministry Gym in Basingstoke. The Ministry is a unique training facility which caters for people who like to work hard and take their training seriously. Regardless of your fitness or training level, if your work ethic is right, you will be welcomed with open arms. I’ve attended 2 seminars (Gym Jones Fundamentals and Jane Erbachers Project Row / Project Ski) at The Ministry Gym both of which were delivered flawlessly by the friendly and knowledgeable team. Normal day to day training now continues and all I can say is that it’s an absolute pleasure to train there. When you are surrounded by people who have a genuine love and passion for training it really does create quite a special atmosphere. I’ve trained in many many gyms over the years but The Ministry Gym really is unique! That is something I love being a part of every day! More...

A great swimming pool for family fun. Very similar to a Butlins experience with three good flumes (although only two were operating when I visited). The flumes were perfect for more adventurous primary age children and there is a good 'lazy river' with lots of things which splash and so. Good value and staff were friendly and helpful. On a school holiday it was busy but the queues were not ridiculous and a wrist band system was in place to limit you to around 2 hours in the pool. More...

It's a good place. The pool is nice and the slides are fun. Although it doesn't have many, it more than makes up for it with how fun they are. Although, both times I went, once of the slides was closed which unfortunately was the fastest and the most fun (got to ride it once before it closed) More...

Well Done MrEpcGames67. If the number indicates the year you were born in, perhaps its time you grew up a little or found something constructive to do with your life.
As for the Aquadrome, yes its looking a little dated and sadly, its a public swimming pool (as in, not part of a private members club) so sadly, you will get people who treat it badly and at that point, the pool has to be closed, would you honestly prefer the alternative.
For the most part, its perfectly acceptable. Queues for the slides are never that bad, the rapids are good fun for half an hour and the main pool has good times for lane swimming.
Gyms pretty good, would be better if all the kit was working but there is enough of it that you never really have to queue for stuff. Classes are often and there is a good variety. Parking is plentiful.
Only downside is that sometimes it takes ages to get past reception and into the building.

A whirl pool and good water slides.
Oh..and they have a small but adequate and well thought out baby area.
A little tired in places but it didnt affect our enjoyment...it maybe would affect the mood of older kids.
