We had Matt & Mel document our wedding at the end of July this year after meeting with them at a wedding fayre. To be honest they were a breath of fresh air, whilst we were looking at their work they struck up genuine convo with us as a couple, not as potential customers which went a long way in us choosing them to be part of our day. 15mins had gone by the time we actually got round to mentioning the word wedding & if they were free. We were dreading the pre shoot as we aren’t the most comfortable in front of camera, but they put us at ease and ended up being a lot of fun, and the pics were lush! Defo recommend having this as without it we wouldn’t have been so comfortable on the wedding day, we knew what to expect. They were great on the wedding day itself, they told us not to be surprised if we saw them in a bush or in a tree to get the shot! They were just as excited as us about the day and that enthusiasm really showed with how prepared they were to get the best memories caught on camera. Our guests commented how they had seen both Matt and Mel running over when something funny had happened or had been said to get the reaction shots of our family and friends enjoying the day without being staged or intrusive. The pictures and video footage we’ve just received back could not have been better! We are over the moon that our wedding day has been captured exactly how we remember it. Where to begin? From our initial meet up, to our pre shoot to the big day you guys were AMAZING. You can pay for professionalism and talent but you can't pay for the friendship and love we have gained from you both. You knew exactly what we wanted and you captured it perfectly. You made our guests feel so relaxed and we have had so many comments on how lovely you both were. I was nervous in the morning and I kept telling myself "Matt and Mel will be here soon, they'll calm you down" and you did. The second you walked through the door that morning I calmed down instantly because it was like having two friends come in to help me get ready. You made the day so enjoyable by capturing the natural flow of the day and no one felt uncomfortable with a camera around as you were so discreet. Coby, our dog, adored you and you clearly adored him too, we are very protective of him and you both instantly were too, keeping him safe, there's not many people I'd allow to take him for a wander to other cottages but I was asking you two to do it as I knew he'd be safe and happy with you. You had a busy day going between the cottages, capturing children playing, magic, dancing and so much more but you did it so naturally, with ease. We can't thank you enough, we are confident you will be fully booked for every year to come as you are both incredibly talented and an absolute pleasure to be around. We love our sneak peeks and cannot wait for the full finished product. We must meet up and get you both a drink. Thank you Matt and Mel, and promise us we will remain friends from now on?! Well where do we start? From our first meeting, pre shoot and wedding day Mel & Matt were everything & more than we ever wished for. All the planning & chats.. we just always felt so comfortable and had so many laughs together.We have definitely made some friends for life. We are absolutely over the moon with our wedding photography and wedding video. Every single special moment was captured and we now have all these memories to treasure forever. Speechless with the work Matt and Mel do and we would highly recommend them. Just take a look at the work they do! They are both friendly and are at the end of the phone if you need to ask them anything. A large number of our photos are natural photos where the people in them didn’t even know they were having a photo taking - this is something that we as a couple really wanted - and even our staged ones are just amazing! Mel and Matt did an absolutely fantastic job on our Wedding Day and we are so chuffed with the end results. We honestly weren’t looking forward to the pre-shoot but actually it helped us so much to be more relaxed on the day of the Wedding. Mel and Matt were great at putting us at ease as they knew neither of us were a massive fan of the camera! I work in the wedding industry and met these guys next to me at a wedding fayre. We introduced ourselves to each other and as the day went on there was something about this company that I liked. I had been keen to meet a decent videographer and get myself a professional showreel done for my own entertainment business.
I contacted these after our initial meet and decided to bite the bullet and put them to the test. All I can say is "oh boy didn't they do well".
