What’s your interior design process?
It starts with a no obligatory meeting that will take up to an hour. This time is spent getting to know you, and your requirements, budget and timeline. You will be asked a number of relevant questions, take note of your existing furniture and take photographs of the space. From this meeting I prepare a list of tasks and actions that I anticipate will be needed to complete your project together with a budget estimate for the consultation fees. Lesley-Ann Interiors also offer e-design boards for those clients who live further afield, or to those who plan to implement the new design themselves.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Most styles but it will mainly be your style, whether that's transitional, shabby chic, ultra modern or you like to mix it up - I work with you to achieve a look that reflects your personality and style.
What do you love most about your job?
Everything..!! From the initial meeting to designing a space personally for my clients, to seeing their faces at the final reveal.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a young child, I would spend hours flicking through my parents Architecture and Interior Design magazines, then continuously updating the wallpaper on my dolls house! My knack for spacial planning became evident as I frequently re-organised my bedroom. I enjoyed spending all my school holidays as an Office Runner at a Prestigious London Residential Architecture and Interior Design firm - and doing errands to the sites mean't I got to see the actual designers’ plans come to life too. It was working abroad when I took my first step to starting my own business.

I am down to earth, and naturally a cost saver - Clients looking to work with me will be looking to achieve a high end designer look but without the high end price tag!
Interior Design
Updating your home with a coherent and natural interior space can take a considerable amount of time and a trained eye. I aim to assist clients translate their inspirations and ideas into well thought out aesthetically pleasing but practical spaces, saving them both valuable time and money in the long run.
Whichever level of design service you require, each project will start with an initial consultation, which is free to customers in the local area. This is then followed by the Design project. I also offer an e-design service for those clients who are further afield, or who will be implementing the new design themselves.
House Saleability Consultations
I provide you with a Professional Consultation providing advice on making your home more sellable, and attracting a wider market. I provide a walk through or report on how to attract a potential buyer/ tenant from kerb appeal to the spacial planning.
Home Staging
Home Staging is the art of preparing and dressing a property in readiness to sell, aiming to maximise its selling potential, and make it appealing to the broader market.
Room Re-design/Makeover
This service is ideal if you wish to update your homes appearance but not spending too much in the process! The Room Redesign Consultation is a two-hour consultation deciding with you which items can be kept or reused and how to rearrange the furniture to create a whole new look in minimal time.
E-Design Service
If you are planning to implement the work yourself, I offer an E-design online service that is delivered into your mailbox. All you need to do is complete a questionnaire, and send by email or CD, the measurements of the room, plenty of photos and we will produce a bespoke Room A3 Digital Concept Board and Room Plan, giving you suggestions on colour, furnishing, lighting and style. This is a great investment for your space.
