Az captured our beautiful day to a T! He made us and all the wedding guests feel so comfortable with having their photo's taken and most of the time you did not even realise he was there. From the first meeting he was very easy to contact, answering all my questions really promptly, always in a kind manner. All photos were received in a good time frame and even included a beautiful presentation box, with printed photos and USB. We would 100% recommend him over any other photographer! We cannot recommend Az at Lemontree Photography highly enough. Az's professionalism and true talent for capturing those special moments really is incredible. We had both an engagement shoot and our wedding photography done by Az and we couldn't be happier with the results. Az (and Nathan) made all our guests feel totally at ease during our Big Day and successfully captured those magical moments without disturbing the church service. I can't recommend Lemontree Photography enough. I don't think there is a more qualified, professional photographer than Az and his photos are easily the best in Hampshire. I found Lemontree Photography after Googling wedding photographers in my area and was amazed by how strikingly beautiful his candid style of photography is. We had the pleasure of having Az capture our special day. His work is truly amazing. He came to our house before our wedding to get to know us and what we wanted from him regarding photos. He arrived at the hotel on the day and worked tirelessly running back and forth to ensure he got photos of both bridal and groom party getting ready. His worked continued throughout the day getting both group and natural photos. Nothing was too much to ask and he always seem to know where the perfect spot to get a photograph was. Az was hands down the best photographer - he met our expectations and then some! We were after informal, happy, not-posed photographs taken with sharp focus and lots of colour. We wanted to capture the happiness of the day and show people how they naturally were. Sounds simple, but it's a real skill for a photographer to capture people in this way without being able to position them and ask them to smile. Az was brilliant at this and best of all, you didn't he realise he was doing it! We barely saw him all day or all night, he was like a fly on the wall, which was good for our guests and I imagine it made them feel more relaxed. We trawled through endless photographers to find the right one for our wedding and as soon as i saw Az's photos i knew it was him and he didn't disappoint. We were advised to choose a calm photographer and Az was exactly that- good fun and constantly smiling but blended into the background when needed and was able to organise group shots in a friendly and calm manner even when we were really pushed for time. Some photographers can seem demanding and the bride and groom shots seem to take hours but Az was able to fit our photos around the day not the other way round so we got some amazing pictures without feeling we ever missed out on celebrating with everyone. Also i am notoriously critical of every photo of me and we were unfortunate to have a rainy day but every single photo is stunning and Az had an amazing eye for what pictures would look good in all conditions so he was able to adapt so well. He also stayed nearly until the end to ensure he got some beautiful night shots and loads of us having fun on the dance floor when other photographers run off as soon as their time is up. We met Az through the numerous wedding open days we attended prior to booking our venue. After having to postpone our wedding due to an extra person wishing to be present at our wedding (our daughter), we finally met Az on a 1-1 basis a few weeks before the wedding. From that initial meeting we knew we had picked the best man for the job. Az was very relaxing, friendly and extremely professional when it came down to the photography.

In the time leading up to the wedding Az was always available at the end of an email, always responded promptly to any questions we had and was amenable when it came to timings of the day as they were changed slightly.

On the day AZ's calm nature shone out and put the whole wedding party at ease, slotting into the background, Az worked his magic taking the must have photos. A lot of our guests commented on his calming nature, and how friendly and professional he was.

What can we say that hasn't already been said in other reviews?! Az is both professional and friendly, and did an incredible job of understanding us and how we were planning our big day. Although he had never photographed at our venue before, he took the time to look around and get to know the place in advance.On the day he blended into the background and caught amazing natural photos of the guests, but also ensured all of our family group shots were taken and caught the most stunning portraits of us as a couple. Az was brilliant at answering any questions we had on the lead up to the big day and met us at our venue to talk through the order of the day. All of the reviews here about Az are amazingly accurate! He's got a creative and journalistic style- the photos on his site were very representative of the work he did for us. Because there are so many reviews, I'll direct mine towards people planning smaller weddings and who might be confused about the photography part.I came to the UK from overseas to get married and as such not many of my family and friends were able to make it. We got married in a register office, and didn't have a lot of the "grander" touches (like bridesmaids)... ours was a cozy wedding. When we got the pictures back I have to say that I was massively impressed. I'd seen the register office photographed in previous weddings by other photographers and there were aspects of the venue I didn't like (air conditioners, older silk flowers on display, etc), but Az's composition and talent made it look as grand as anything (which is the way I felt on the day!). He was also brilliant in "balancing out" photos of guests- he's got a knack for feeling out and prioritizing who's who in the entourage.If, like us, you've got a smaller wedding and are wondering whether a photographer is one of those things you can "live without", you can't (or shouldn't)! Az was the most worthwhile investment apart from the dress.Because of the size of our wedding, it was a massive priority that the people participating ( = food, photographer, Irish band) had a "personal" feel and weren't part of some kind of "wedding industrial mill" where we were just anonymous. We did a lot of research before choosing our photographer as this was a part of our wedding that was really important to us. Az lived up to his reputation and every aspect of our interactions with him - from the first email contact to the final, stunning results were nothing but positive. He is a thorough and meticulous professional - including scoping out our ceremony location ahead of time as it was not a place he had shot before in order to make sure he had a plan for the day. He has a very kind, calm, and friendly demeanor that is delightful to be around, and an incredible knack for disappearing into the background and making himself almost invisible on the day, while still capturing wonderful little moments of joy and surprise and laughter from us and all our guests. I have just received the email link to our gallery and I am utterly delighted with Az's work. I cannot recommend him highly enough, both for the outstanding quality of his work, and for being such a lovely, warm, engaging professional! This is the second time that Az has captured special memories for us, and both times he has completely exceeded our expectations (which were already high based on the galleries of his work that you can see on his website). Az was an absolute pleasure to have at our wedding in 2013, making us both feel completely at ease for the more formal photos, and discreetly capturing beautiful images of the people and details that made our day so special. He was the natural choice for us to return to when we now wanted to have family photo's taken whilst I was pregnant.Our family photoshoot included a 35 week bump, 4 and 8 year olds and the family dog. Luckily for us Az was happy to ignore the adage of never working with children or animals! We had had a few reservations about booking the photoshoot initially as neither myself or my husband feel very natural about posing for photos and we felt quite uncomfortable about just the idea of it. Once again, Az completely put us at ease from the first tentative email enquiry. The customer care and consideration in the run up to the day were excellent (especially when we had a slight hiccup due to a pregnancy complication and thought we may need to rearrange it!). The locations he suggested in the New Forest were stunning, and have certainly added something very special to the images. Az was also fantastic working with our children to create beautiful images of them (both posed and 'action') that we will treasure for ever. I stumbled across Lemontree photography when I was researching our wedding venue, and after a few minutes of scrolling through Az’s work I knew he was the photographer for us. Jon and I met Az for a consultation and had the opportunity to look through some of him photo albums. Leaving that meeting we both knew that Az was the photographer for us - so if you are thinking about having him capture your day - don’t event doubt it! Book him straight away! In the months leading up to the wedding we found it really easy to communicate with Az, any questions we had he replied to promptly and he was really accommodating meeting us a week before the wedding to scope out the reception venue and to talk through photography ideas in our tipis. The day before the wedding Az captured my mehndi night was so much fun and definitely got us into the spirit for the wedding the following day. On our wedding day, Jon had Nathan (our second photographer) capture him and the boys getting ready - one of the things we love is how complimentary Nathan and Az’s photography is - a perfect match. We came across Lemontree Photography when searching around on Google for a wedding photographer. Az’s pictures on his site looked exactly the kind of style we wanted – not forced and rigid but capturing natural moments. We met up with Az a few weeks before our wedding and went through the details of the day. He is extremely knowledgeable and absolute delight to talk to and he put our minds at ease completely. Before we started planning our wedding, we were not yet aware of how picking the right photographer could have such an effect on our special day. Having been to friend’s weddings in the past and having different levels of interaction with their photographers, we had never yet met one who we could truly describe as 'outstanding', until we came across Az during our searches. We weren't sure of the exact style we were looking for, however we were immediately blown away by the clarity and the artistic vision in the work he was producing under the Lemontree Photography banner.As we were so keen to make sure Az was at our wedding, we secured our date with him immediately, two years before the wedding - which seemed like a lifetime away at the time - but suddenly it was the week of the wedding and we were meeting up with him to discuss our ideas. He took all of our ideas on board and seemed really excited by them, and came up with loads of his own that we wouldn't have ever thought of (one of the many perks of hiring an experienced photographer - he knows exactly what he's doing in any situation!) Az was so easy to get along with and it almost felt like we were meeting with a friend rather than our wedding photographer, which made us even more excited.We quickly learnt that your photographer will be your best friend on your wedding day as you'll be spending so much time in their presence. Az and his fantastic second photographer, Lel Hurst, spent a very long day working hard to capture wonderful shots of the bigger picture and the smaller details we had spent hours planning, and also shots of the lesser celebrated moments on a wedding day, like distant family members catching up, or our friends children playing together. They were friendly, welcoming and cheerful at all times and nothing was too much hassle for them.For the formal, posed shots (which were quick and painless) Az knew exactly the shot he wanted every time and the miniscule adjustments he required to make everyone’s posture/angle more natural and relaxed. Whether this was a clenched fist casually slipped into a pocket to make a nervous usher look more relaxed or a foot placed forward by an inch to make everything seem less staged, Az had a clear vision in his head for every shot and we now have some beautiful formal shots which we will honestly treasure. Az was an integral part of our wedding (even though he blended so well into the crowd we barely noticed him for most of the day!) and we had so many compliments from our friends and family about how lovely and professional he was. Az was fantastic from the moment we met him for the initial consultation through the engagement shoot, photography on the wedding day and final edited images, which truly were breathtakingly beautiful. Firstly we have to say what a nice person he is - do not under-estimate the importance of a friendly photographer, as he will form an important part of your day in organising all the guests and making sure they are all relaxed and smiling in the photographs (we have been witness to other wedding photographers who can be rather rude and bossy but Az knew exactly how to get everyone into place yet still keep them happy - we had so many comments about how lovely our photographer was!). Next onto the quality of the photography - we have had COUNTLESS compliments on how stunning and artistic the photographs are, he really does capture the mood and beauty in things in a way we had never seen before. Thanks to Az, we not only have the amazing memories from our wedding day but they are all captured so perfectly, and atmospherically in his photographs. In our favourite photograph he used a special spotlight, which illuminated the surroundings in a magical light and managed to make our wedding look like an elegant, classic film set. His assistant photographer was also fantastic, they made a great team together. He has such a wealth of experience and it was nice to see that across his works, he was not just churning out the same style of photographs with a different couple, each wedding was treated in its own right and unique photographs taken to capture the different moments most appropriately. The after-service was also brilliant as we received a beautiful box with a USB with all our edited photographs on them and a few prints, which were a lovely touch that we were not expecting. Az couldn't do enough for us and we loved the personal touches he added such as being thoughtful enough to provide the colour copies of every photograph that he had edited to black & white so that we could choose. Az was our photographer at our wedding in September 2014 and we cannot give high enough praise to him. We could not have been happier with the photos he took of our day, they are just beautiful. Az managed to capture the moment and the feel of the occasion at the same time as adding just the right amount of artistry. Getting that balance right is difficult to judge but Az got it spot on. It was not just the quality of the photos that Az gave us that we wanted to comment on. Az was just a wonderful person to have there with us on the day. Lemontree Photography was recommended to us by a close friend that attended a wedding where Az had been the photographer, she really was so complimentary & when we saw the pictures from the wedding we could see why. Then on our special day we really could not have asked for more. Sam & Az were a special part of our day. They were unintrusive but captured every element of the day perfectly. Even in the often talked about tiresome group shots, we were content as Az & Sam were keeping everyone happy. Since the wedding so many of our guests have commented on how lovely our photographers were. Az Rehman is not only a photographic genius but also one of the nicest and coolest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting. Choosing our photographer was the first box we ticked after choosing our venue and this reflects how important this choice was for us . I found Lemontree online after searching for local photographers and trawling through many wedding albums. Initially my interest was based on how much I loved his style of photo which often feature great colour and very natural moments. On meeting Az I instantly knew that he would fit in wonderfully on the day and from that moment on I remained somewhat overly excited about 'working' with him. Az was a great addition to our guest list and I only wish that I'd included the photographers on the table plan too! He chose a fantastic second shooter and between them they produced an outstanding album of photos which include stunning guest shots along with reminders of some of the little details (which a Bride has often spent many a month deliberating over). After the wedding day we shot straight off on our honeymoon and because of this we felt that our memories of the day were quite hazy. On return Az sent us the digital images and I honestly hadn't realised that both ourselves and our guests had had so much fun! Az was recommended to us by a photographer closer to home - we live in London, so it was great to be put in touch with someone trusted by other photographers closer to our venue in Dorset. The photos look absolutely stunning, and are a perfect record of a perfect day. Az and his second shooter put us both at ease, were fantastic to work with and have an eye for great shots. Apart from our formal shots together, we barely realised we had photographers there at all - which just goes to show how professional they are! I cannot recommend Lemontree Photography highly enough. The photography was one of the most important elements to us for our wedding and Az exceeded all of our high expectations. I knew he'd do an amazing job after looking at all of his past work, but he really listened to us and what we were after. He not only took beautiful images of the day, but managed to capture the atmosphere too. On top of that he was a real pleasure to have around; calm, polite and unobtrusive.
