Driveway Clean
Our driveway cleaning service is designed to handle even the dirtiest blocked paved driveways.
Overtime mother nature attacks the natural finish of residential driveways, with moss, algae and lichen growth building up over time. A consumer-grade pressure washer will struggle to remove hard ingrained dirt and grime and natural growth will likely return very quickly.
Our commercial-grade pressure washing equipment outputs considerably more pressure and flow and also has the capability to output how steam at up to 150 Celcius!
We start by inspecting the surface to asses the best driveway cleaning options. Generally speaking, most driveways will be cleaned as follows.
Initial chemical treatment to remove ingrained dirt, natural growth or oil stain removal. Followed by high-pressure cleaning to remove block paving stains.
A followup chemical clean will then be applied to kill off any remaining spores that may have been protected by surface dirt.
We then clean down all surfaces and remove any pooling dirt to leave you with a perfectly clean driveway area.
Patio Clean
Overtime our garden Patios become dirty from a buildup of bacteria, algae and general grime. Not only do these become slip hazards on your nice wood decking but it also becomes a serious slip hazard and frankly, just isn’t nice to sit on during those warm summer days.
Here at LB Pressure Washing, we take great pride in bringing your Garden Patio back to life, restoring its natural look.
Firstly, we make an assessment of your patio cleaning requirements, making note of the type of material your decking is made from as this will dictate how we clean the surface.
We will then apply a commercial cleaning solution that will help loosen any hard baked-on surface staining.
If appropriate for the patio surface we will then use our high pressure, industrial cleaning equipment with temperatures up to 150 Celcius to wash away all surface dirt.
Final chemical treatment is then applied to kill off any spores or roots that are embedded into the surface of your patio, while also providing an extra clean shine to the decking.
Finally, we make sure we clean down any surfaces that may have been splashed from the pressure washing cleaning process and if appropriate returning after a day of drying to apply a patio sealer or resanding of block paving.
Roof Clean
A common sight on UK roofs is generally a huge buildup off moss, lichen and other organic material.
Not only does moss become unsightly once buildup becomes significant but it can also lead to long-term damage of your roof tiles. Moss roots will imbed themselves into the porous surface of roof tiles, removing the protective layer and also allowing water ingress by lifting tiles.
A secondary issue is overflowing gutters; as moss slowly flakes off the surface of your roof it ultimately lands inside your gutter, causing them to overflow and damage wall surfaces while also causing damp issues.
Our Moss removal and roof cleaning service start by an on-site visit to asses the type of tyle and access available.
We then start by scraping off the majority of any moss and dirt found on the surface of your roof, followed by a Biocide treatment that will slowly kill any organic growth on the surface of your roof. You will notice a significant improvement over the course of 3 - 6 months, bringing the tiles back to their natural colour and preventing growth for up to 5 years!
We will ensure all gutters are empty and any debris cleaned from the surrounding area.
Render Clean
It’s a common misconception that a dirty rendered surface needs to be re-pained to bring it back to life and while sometimes that may be true, in most cases black staining tends to be either organic growth or road traffic film.
Softwashing is significantly more cost-effective than re-painting the surface and does not require expensive scaffolding.
We use render safe chemical treatments to bring dirty render and cladding back to their original clean and shiny state.
We start by using low pressure, high water flows to remove the bulk of surface dirt, we then use Render safe chemical treatments to kill any organic material that has embedded itself into the surface of the rendered surface. We then agitate the surface with a brush, followed by a low-pressure high flow rinse.
If needed, we apply a higher concentration of the chemical to areas that prove to be stubborn.
