During these challenging times, I know many parents are trying to work from home whilst home-schooling their children. Therefore I have now converted to online tutoring due to COVID-19. I can do this over a platform called Zoom, it is fully secure and offers a video chat, screen sharing feature, and online interactive whiteboard. This allows for interactive and engaging tutoring sessions that incorporate various learning styles through videos, games, and presentations. I am able to provide resources for children to support their learning, whilst identifying and consolidating learning gaps.

I have a Bachelors degree in Early Years and a PGCE in Primary Education. Therefore, I have experience teaching across Early Years and up to Year 6. Each year, a significantly high percentage of children within my class make outstanding progress and achieve excellent outcomes exceeding predicted standards in Reading, Writing, Maths and Phonics. I have tutored on a 1:1 basis for approximately four years and have taught a range of subjects including SATS preparation, across both KS1 and KS2. I have tutored children preparing for their entrance exams, and 11+ in the independent sector. I, therefore, understand that not all children learn in the same way and I strive to find a way that works best for each child. I am dedicated to helping each and every child to reach their potential.

I have built up a wide range of teaching strategies and resources to support children’s learning and tailor this to the individual. I am a dedicated teacher that spends time concentrating on meticulous lesson planning and preparation tailored to each individual, before teaching them. This means that I arrive at each lesson well-prepared to start making progress with you and your child.

I am flexible in the subject area and I cover all ages from Reception to Year 6. n order to meet the desired outcome for each child. I deliver exciting and interactive tutoring sessions to create a love for learning, and to enhance confidence. I enjoy watching my students prosper, and grow in confidence and ability over the time I have been teaching them, as well as vastly improving their grades! Many parents comment on how much confidence their children now have since started tutoring with me, which is translated into improved performance and grades.

I am flexible in the subject area and I cover all ages from Reception to Year 6. I can provide help with their homework, or any tasks that school has set for the child to complete.

I have a DBS certificate and can provide references if needed.
