What makes a great website?
We specialise in eCommerce websites and we believe that the most important things are site speed (now a Google ranking factor), mobile friendly, simple navigation, easy checkout, good quality product photos and descriptions.
The reason for these are that the majority of visitors will arrive at the site ready to purchase the products you sell. The aim should be to make that process as simple as possible, without any distractions to cause them to reconsider and therefore avoiding abandoned carts.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Do you have an existing website and if so is this an online store selling your products?
Do you intend to sell online only or do you have a physical store as well that customers can visit?
What type of products to you intend to sell online?
How do you intend promoting the website (Google, Social media etc.)?
Why should our clients choose you?
The main reason for choosing us (apart from zero setup costs) is the ongoing relationship after the store is live. We offer advice and help whenever it is required and regularly update the site with security updates etc. to keep it running smoothly. It is in both of our interests that the site performs well and grows over time. Our typical client is someone that wants to sell online, but doesn't have the time and/or knowledge to maintain/run an ecommerce store. We handle everything for you, all you would have to do is log into the admin side and add/edit your products as necessary (e.g. price changes, out of stock etc.). You would also change an individual order status to "shipped" which will auto generate an email to the customer to tell them their order is on the way.
