Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
There's usually so much to do and not enough hours in the day. Even with a bit of time bookkeeping and accounting can seem like a scary and daunting prospect to start, with a lot of bumps in the road ahead. It may seem unimportant until a letter arrives or a radio/TV advert says time is running out. Customers and suppliers are are the most important thing for a business - without stock or tools there are no customers to service. It's number - I love numbers!
Talking and meeting all sorts of people from all sorts of businesses and backgrounds.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been business minded and thought about it before in other fields, but I decided to make the jump from accounting employee to contract and self employed. It's so much more inspiring running my own little business. It is hard work, but I seem to have more energy now!
