Where do I start? Was given a quote for a fixed amount. Their terms and conditions state, you will be allocated a solicitor, and you’ll deal with that solicitor throughout the process. Well let me start by telling you, you’ll be dealing with the receptionist and trainee more than anyone else. They don’t reply to emails, nobody is ever available to speak on the phone and they NEVER call back, you ask important questions and they don’t bother answering them. They provide the worst service possible, that’s if you can even call it a service. They lie continually, they purposely use a different member of staff every time they make contact so each can relinquish all responsibility of the poor service you received from the last person. At the end after all the ignoring, lying and non existent service, they have the bare faced cheek to send you a bill which is more expensive than the “fixed” quote they originally gave you. In my opinion, they are walking on a very fine line staying on the right side of the law, I would rather eat my own a**ehole before even considering using these clowns again. More...

I have nothing positive to say about Lancashire Law in December 2020, I was prevented from speaking to the lawyer responsible, every obstacle was put in my way and finally the deeds were sent to the wrong address - so unprofessional and causing unnecessary disruption to our sale.

STAY WELL CLEAR FROM THE MILNROW OFFICE. From offer through to completion I never had a single e-mail or letter until I requested confirmation of sale. Then discovered that Indemnity insurance had been purchased at a cost of £228. Then 3 different reasons given for the insurance. We were referred to Milnrow Lancs Law by our estate agency. I was keen to use a local firm so that I could physically call in with docs and speak to real people. Communications from our solicitor was regular and they always responded to emails within a day - even if my main contact wasn't in, someone would get back to me.
