Do not use this company. Dan never finished our garden and still owes us money for materials from September last year. The fence he did install hasn’t lasted 5 minutes, it’s bowed and wonky. We have had several other garden company’s come round to look and they have all said he hasn’t installed the posts properly. Absolutely awful dishonest service. Dan didn’t finish the job he promised and did a runner with the money we paid him for materials which he promised he ordered. The materials never turned up. After months of chasing with zero response Dan only gave us some of our money back after we have left him bad reviews. He still owes us a substantial amount! He does this to a lot of people (check his Facebook page for more reviews). The only part of the job Dan did complete was a fence and that wasn’t installed properly as it has bowed in the wind. Exceptionally disappointed in the way Daniel has conducted his service.
Was quick enough to visit and send a quote along with an invoice which I queried.
He assured me that it was all above board and would be used for materials.
Being the gullible and trusting person that I am, I paid it.
BIG MISTAKE!!
He has,
- Ignored my calls,
-Not turned up.
-Left me feeling totally let down, -Without anything to show for my money and full of distrust.
As an OAP who has worked hard all my life and paid my way regardless of hardship and doing without, may I warn anybody considering using this company .

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! After contacting Dan back in August to pull out a hedge, erect new fencing and then lay 50sqm of paving I can honestly say I’ve never met anyone so unreliable or unprofessional. Dan completed the hedge rip and fencing on time and without any issues albeit there were a few days that he just wouldn’t turn up, however since then the fence has blown over in the first bit of wind we’ve had. After paying Dan the money for the paving slabs I have still yet to get delivery of these slabs. This was about £2200. I have repeatedly tried to get in contact with Dan about this only to be ignored multiple times and when he does reply just says that the builders merchants have delays. This had been ongoing for months. It was then only after my partner put a review up much like this one that Dan messaged straight away and offered to pay back the money. Dan did send me back £500 and then promised that he would get the rest of my money (£1700) back to me within a month. We're now in March and after messages to Dan of which there is no surprise he has ignored my last one, I am still waiting for him to send the £1700 back to me. I would also like to add I had Jewsons builders merchants turned up at my house unexpectedly after Dan had left equipment that he hired to complete my job for months on end that he had not paid for meanwhile according to his facebook page he can purchase a brand new van and new website. Was this bought with my money?! I have never experienced dealing with a business quite like this, not only has he taken my money but the work completed has been poor and I am constantly ignored with promises that Dan can’t meet. For anyone wishing for Dan to complete work for them, do not ask him to. You’ll be left out of pocket and with an unfinished job! More...
