The service Leia from LA Interiors provides to her clients is second to none, twice i have now called upon her for help and i was made to feel like i was the only client she cared about. She came round to my home, sat up with me and the mrs till late discussing living room furniture and it was like having a friend round. Yesterday, i was in a bit of a situation with some potential premises we are looking to rent for our new office, the space was smaller than id imagined from the pictures and i couldn’t see how to make it work. I called Leia at half 12 yesterday afternoon, she came down to the shop a couple hours later, listened to what i needed, looked at the space and came up with unbelievable way to make it all work. What’s your interior design process?
We start by coming out to meet you and see your project. This allows us to understand exactly what the client wants to do and then we can put togther a proposal of works, that details each job (Kitchen design, sourcing bathroom items, lighting or just choosing paint colours) No 2 projects are the same and we like to tailor-make the quote that reflects the work envolved and then put a fee on the proposal that will not change. This make it very clear what work is involved and what the costs will be. Once the proposal has been agreed and fees been paid we get to work. Work varies but usually involves measuring the space and creating scaled floor plans to make the the layout is right. Creating mood boards with fabrics, wallpaper, materials that will give the space its character, sourcing lighting, furniture, skirting, doors, handles, kitchens, bathrooms, designing and drawing up custom made fitted furniture for carpenters to make. Creating three dimensional images to help the client visualise the space. Then we hand-hold through the whole process, including procurement, over-seeing installation, recommending trusted craftsmen and pulling it it all together.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Any. Even ones client's didnt even know they liked. My portfolio does'nt reflect my taste at all. It is a reflection of my clients personal style. I do encourage my clients to not follow trends so that their spaces are timeless, its important that the room is a personal statement about who they are, thats why I spend time understanding their taste and getting into their heads.

Knowing how I can change someones life for the better.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been working in the industry since 2002, it was a natural progression to start my own company.
