What do you love most about your job?
The knowledge that I've assisted in some way to help clients recover from the discomfort, tension or injury they may have been experiencing gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Ability to be my own boss and shape things the way I want to in order to provide the best possible service to clients.
Why should our clients choose you?
In short, professionalism and courtesy. I have 5 years experience in treating a range of clients.
Sports, deep tissue and relaxation massage are offered as well as reflexology.
Prior to the first treatment I have a phone conversation with the client about the discomfort, tension or injury they have. This allows them to get to know me and ask any questions (and vice versa) and to start the process of formulating a treatment plan. I also send the client a medical history form for completion, this provides me with further information on the client's medical history and allows me to consider whether any specific treatment modifications may be required to ensure the safety of the client.
At the first treatment, more detailed observations, including tests are undertaken to complete the treatment plan which will then be used as a basis for following treatment(s).
All client information is treated as confidential and stored securely. Further details are in the privacy policy on my website.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
When a client first makes a booking, prior to the first treatment, in addition to a medical history form for them to complete, I also send them a document electronically via a practice management system that clearly explains the clinic COVID safety procedures.
Before every treatment I also send them a COVID screening form to complete and return to me (done electronically) for signature - this also allows me to confirm to the client that to the best of my knowledge at that time I am free of COVID.
In the clinic, I wear PPE (apron, mask and visor) ensuring there is adequate ventilation. I also ask clients to wear a mask (unless they have a valid exemption) and can provide one if necessary. The clients’ temperature is taken on arrival and they are also requested to sanitise their hands (also available in the clinic).
Appointments are adequately spaced out so that there is enough time between each treatment for cleaning and ventilation of the clinic. Clients are requested to arrive on time, but not early for their appointment.
