We operate blue-chip contracts from our support centre in Wimbledon Greater London, for a wide variety of clients in the retail, commercial and construction sectors providing a variety of services, such as retail security officers, store detectives, loss prevention officers and construction security and door supervisors.

I came into security May 2010 doing door supervision full training course with Knightguard, I found a very relaxed and comfortable way of trainingfrom instructor. I returned to re-new my licence on expiry, again so relaxed even with the added SIA physical intervention.I have returned to add and successfully completed CCTV course, This company makes the training interesting in a relax manor, then has time for any individual questions asked, even away from class so also can be on a one to one.Knightguard are there to help and advise you, in life they are professional.I have no question on any recommendations, to Knightguard training. Manned Guarding & Security Officers
Our Security Officers take care of your security requirements, whether you have a house, office, construction site or a retail outlet that requires a security presence. whether you are requiring ongoing security assistance or short term cover Knightguard are able to provide a bespoke service to you.
Mobile Patrol
Mobile patrol security guards secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; and inspecting equipment, and access points to a site (or home) permitting or refusing entry. Regular visits during the night and responding to alarm activations.
CCTV Monitoring
At our Head Office we have the facility to monitor a clients premises using state of the art CCTV systems. Our operators are mainly responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video surveillance footage, reporting incidents or suspicious behaviour and contacting the authorities when necessary. Our operators can be employed at hospitals, airports, schools, housing complexes, gated communities, shopping centres and many other types of establishments.
The role of a CCTV Operator is relatively uniform across the board. They are charged with maintaining control centre equipment, watching multiple monitors at once, making note of any unusual occurrences and interacting with the Police as and when required.
Door Supervisors
Door supervisors are responsible for the safety and security of customers and staff in venues such as pubs, bars, nightclubs, Private Parties and other licensed premises or at public events.
They spend most of their time at the premises' entrance, checking the suitability of people coming in. This may involve checking that the person is not underage or carrying any harmful substances or objects, such as drugs or weapons. They may also check that customers' attire meets the required dress code for the venue or event.
Door supervisors have the authority to refuse entry to anyone they consider unsuitable.
Other duties may also include:
Collecting tickets from people as they enter the venue.
Patrolling and watching people's behaviour and dealing with conflict, both inside and outside the venue.
Restraining and escorting individuals out of the venue, if necessary.
Dealing with emergencies, such as fires or bomb threats
supervising people as they leave the building.
Recording details of any incidents.
Dog Handlers
At Knightguard our Security Dog Handlers are trained to NASDU standards, Our security dog handlers provide an excellent visual deterrent and can quickly identify intruders by scent, sight or sound whilst at work. Knightguard are an Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor (SIA Approved) and hold ISO 9001 and 14001, along with other accreditations.
Our security dog handlers are fully insured. They can work alongside our Security Officers and/or the Emergency Services in dealing with any situation and are dispatched by our control room with an aim to contain or defuse the situation. Our Dogs are most effective for night time use, where the dog is at its most effective, utilising its sense of smell to indicate intruders or suspicious people on or around the assignment they are looking after.
