The horses and instructors are fab! The horses are looked after very well and Kingston university will not be using anyone else for students to horse ride in the area. Would recommend to anyone :)

I did a lot of research before deciding on which London riding school I would choose. I couldn't have made a better choice than with Kingston Riding Centre. Great instructors, friendly staff, wonderful horses, and a genuine desire to help you achieve your goals. I started riding only a few months ago and now take regular weekly hacks through Richmond Park. Jenni is a tremendous instructor and the friendly welcomes by Amy, Elliot, Sophie, Jules and the whole team really make KRC an easy livery to recommend to anyone interested in learning to ride. In the late 70s I used to ride here as a young child and lived for my Saturdays and classes and hacks in Richmond Park. Later in the 1980s I trained here for my BHS exams. Back then the system of training verged on abuse and nobody got paid for their very hard work. However last year (2016) when I returned to look round the stables I found beautiful and well kept animals, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a well run safe yard. I thoroughly recommend this stables to anyone of any level wishing to ride stable horses or keep their own horses there. Possibly one downside is due to popularity you might have to wait to get a slot on the hack or class you want!! More...

After a 25 year break from riding I had some lessons booked as a Christmas gift. It is now September and I've been going back every weeks since! Kingston Riding Centre is a wonderful place to ride, with great instructors, beautiful horses, and an all round friendly, family atmosphere. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The hacks are great fun, taking full advantage of the bridleways and tracks. However I wanted to progress further as a rider so take lessons on Thursday evenings. Instructors put you through your paces but find a level that's right for you, progressing you at your speed - not theirs. I have come on leaps and bounds as a result.

I also attended the recent Adult Training Day. This was a full day with 2 flat lessons and a jump lesson, rounded off with an amazing hack in the park. I had a wonderful days riding that I won't soon forget - thank you all! More...

Just had my first ride there today. Brilliant. All the staff were so friendly, the horses and yard are in top nick and riding in Richmond Park is awesome. Definitely recommend it. This riding centre is the place to go in the whole area. I practically grew up at this barn riding from the age of 8 to 16 here. They have an indoor and outdoor arena, pretty jump sets, mirrors in the indoor, and the stables themselves are nice. The horses are great and will teach you so much whether you are a beginner or experienced. Not to mention the 2 minute ride to Richmond Park. Their hacks out in the park are a great choice no matter your riding experience and the pony club is a great choice for younger riders. I have never been so committed to a riding centre as much as I have here and anyone that rides here will definetly be pleased. More...

We hosted an 8-year-old girls birthday party for 12 children here.From our arrival to our departure, we could not have asked for a more professional, entertaining and welcoming atmosphere. The instructors were patient with the children throughout and had lots of time for their questions. The children found the experience exhilarating - many of the girls had never ridden before. The instructors kept them entertained with various riding activities and games. The party ended with a grooming session where the girls were allowed to brush the horses down with different brushes. The best thing about this riding school must be the location. Only minutes ride away from Richmond Park the hacking here is absolutely breathtaking. The tuition is also of a really high standard. The riding school is very large with horses and ponies to suit people of all ages and standards. You'll find everything here, from 4 year olds having leads out in the park to keen pony clubbers to professional show jumpers. The facilities are also great, with very large indoor and outdoor schools complete with jumps. The stable also regularly take clients to their cross country course on Wimbledon Common. There are group and individual lessons to choose from and a great variety of things to do. The staff are very professional and with so many different instructors there is sure to be someone to suit any rider.The only negative I can think of is that the prices are very high. However, with such a unique location that is understandable. The stable also has a few livery spaces available, however here the prices really are extremely high- personally I couldn't quite see that it was worth the cost and therefore had to move my horse further out of London.
