What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
For brands, it is understanding which are the key elements that need to be captured. For example a specific product being the main focal point when used, and making sure that the composition is still very strong. Then it is capturing variation, close up, to full landscape for example.
Another big element is being authentic. Often models are not your target audience and thus, look very unnatural. As a photographer, I go as far as possible to making sure that every possible element is considered and as realistic as possible.
For private events, capturing the mood and key moments from the day via the most elegant images is really key.
In portraiture, whether it is a person or pet, focusing on the eye is of huge importance.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is the target audience?
What is it exactly that you require from a photo or video shoot?
Budget, turnaround times, frequency, weather and location are also of great importance.
What do you love most about your job?

I go above and beyond to maximise the content you will receive from the end of the filming time, to include where possible variations for social media reels, youtube uploads and more.

Copy writing
As a former journalist and editor for 7 years for a luxury publication, I also offer writing services on a day or job rate.
