Essen and King Upholstery are absolutely amazing. Over the past 3 months or so we have had a bed, sofas and swivel chair upholstered by King. In every case the seemwork, detailing, thoughtfulness and service into the product has been exceptional. We have hardly had any delays (maybe about a week or so only) despite lots of trickier detailing to do plus material delays from the supplier. King went out of their way to upfront flag things we needed to consider. They source the materials at very reasonable prices giving great advice on the relative merits and pricing of different ranges/options.One of the pieces was a very tricky unique swivel chair with multi directional sitting and the guys have done a spectacular job on that.The delivery team were incredibly careful in our house and with all the furniture and in moving stuff around to get the job done. I came across King Upholstery through the Evening Standard article. I visited the shop, talked to Esen (the Director), browsed a lot of samples and then chose some samples to be sent to me at home. Once I'd chosen the material, the sofa was collected efficiently and returned within 10 days. It's a faultless job and excellent service. I have what is in effect a new sofa. It's not cheap but it's worth the price for something that will last 20 years or so. Very highly recommended. More...
