Technical drawings
These drawings are crucial for communicating design intent to contractors, builders, and other professionals involved in the construction or renovation process. The Technical drawings I typically work on are floor plans, elevations, details, specifications of materials, schedules of finishes and working along side electricians to produce electrical plans.
Sourcing FF&E
Sourcing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) is a very important aspect of the interior design process. This involves selecting, ordering, and coordinating the delivery and installation of these items to complete the interior space according to the design plan. Mood board - concept design
A moodboard is put together at the very start of all projects and is used as a visual tool to convey the overall look, feel, and aesthetic direction of a project. Design Development
Once the concept moodbaords have been signed off by the client I then put together a more detailed design development pack. This includes all the suggested FF&E, any technical elevations rendered and floorplans.
Procurement schedule
Once all the FF&E and design has been signed off, I create a schedule/ shopping list which just shows all the prices for the products, lead times, suppliers etc
