Personal Trainers

I was keen for a female trainer to guide me in one-to-one personal training to manage my weight, increase my self motivation and improve my personal confidence. I was lucky to have found Kim who was a great coach throughout all the training sessions and helped me tremendously in all those areas. I’m using no hyperbole when I say that Kim has changed my life. I started working with Kim as a very overweight and unfit person, with ADHD, PTSD and a food aversion that left me with an incredibly limited diet while also undereating (sometimes forgetting to eat more than once a day). Kim has been incredibly understanding regarding my mental health, and has worked with my food issues to create a nutrition plan that has me eating more and better meals that give me the energy I need. On the training front, Kim is excellent at gauging my ability and knowing when to push me and when I need a break, without shaming me for not keeping up. She’s an absolute treasure, and I have gained a confidence and boost to my capability that I didn’t think possible. I’d recommend Kim to everyone, especially if you’re someone not confident or have had a poor experience with gyms/trainers in the past. Also, for my fellow LGBTQIA+ lovelies, Kim is totally accepting and careful to use correct pronouns, and makes her gym space feel very safe and welcoming. More...

I cannot recommend Kim enough! Having spent the past 2-3 years (since beginning of lockdown) dealing with a lot of back pain, my main reason for hiring a PT was to get me moving enough to be able to manage my pain. Kim was so understanding from day 1. She is very attentive, empathetic and kind. She listens and adapts the sessions to meet your needs. Since starting with her I’ve been feeling so much stronger and more confident. I’m eating better, sleeping better and feeling positive about my exercise journey for the first time in years. Kim has a good balance - she definitely pushes you to work hard and challenge yourself but she is also a great cheerleader helping you improve week on week. Kim consulted with me to discuss limitations with my back, she made me a training plan / nutrition plan which I followed, the food suggestions where tasty, easy to make and didn’t cost a lot of money.
Kim has given me a lifestyle plan with implemented exercises that I feel confident to do at home or in the gym.
I would highly recommend Kim.

I started working with Kim after receiving so much support and advice through her menopause work and have not been disappointed.
Our sessions are hard work but lots of fun. She pushes me but still includes a laugh which helps distract me. The exercises are varied and she works hard to support my bad back, adapting the sessions to get the best out of me. She is kind, supportive and always happy to help 🧡

I have just finished my 10 week journey with Kim and I cannot recommend her strongly enough for fitness and nutritional help. I 1st saw kim as a really nervous version of myself, feeling terrible and low about how unfit I’d become, and that I was in a downward spiral with my diet. I really didn’t think I’d be able to turn it around, having tried various things in the past that I could never stick to. Kim listened to my darkest thoughts and feelings, as a maturing woman and a mother to young children, She researched my health issues with a genuine concern and want to help. She showed me how to be the best version of me once again, and gave me the confidence to carry this journey on past these 10 weeks. Most importantly Kim taught me to listen to my body and nurture it from the inside. Pushing myself, but not setting targets too high that I’d lose motivation.
