It is essential - we can't get the best out of our bodies if we don't fuel ourselves properly. It is so easy to be stuck in a rut of eating foods with minimal nutritional value, but with a few easy changes to our diets, the difference to how we feel can be remarkable in a very short space of time.

I love building the relationship with my clients and getting to know them as individuals over the course of the coaching. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing how the changes we make together have a real impact on my clients' lives. It's not only about weight loss, but also the knock-on improvements to health, stress, self-esteem and other aspects of wellbeing.

I left my teaching career after a mental health breakdown, which gave me the opportunity to re-consider my working life. Having been interested in diet and nutrition for many years, and having had a very poor body image and unstable relationship with food for most of my adult life, I decided to study nutrition. This led to further study and my qualification as an accredited Nutrition Coach, allowing me to share what I have learnt to help other people.

I understand that our relationship with food is not always straightforward and that with so much conflicting information, it can be difficult to know which is the best way to have an excellent diet. I listen to my clients and provide personal advice, support and encouragement that is driven by their individual needs. There is no guilt, shame or judgement - I am here to celebrate successes and help when there are bumps in the road.

Coaching sessions can take place in my welcoming practice room in the lovely village of North Waltham near Basingstoke, or alternatively online via Google Meet / Zoom or over the phone. Times are arranged to fit around clients' work and home life.

We have a Covid-19 policy in place, including testing before in-person sessions and use of sanitiser. Full details available on request.

Nutrition Coaching is a personalised approach to improving health and wellbeing through making sustainable changes to your diet.

It involves weekly coaching sessions, ongoing background support and working closely with your coach, Kate, to achieve your goals in the way that suits your lifestyle. There are no fads, or quick fixes, just evidence-based advice and constant encouragement.
