Initially was concerned with service due to cancellation. This was validated later due to covid. When the engineer arrived to my house he replaced the lock, presented his company well, went through protocols of paperwork well and even advised me on how to maintain my lock to prevent future failure. Poor service. Not local as they pretend to be.
Not quoted officially and then adding items to the bill as they go. We felt that our door was saboutaged to gain more money for a new handle, which the fitter said 'was devastating news for us' and happened to have a handle on his van. I called Keytek early on a Saturday morning because a patio door was jammed and, although it was shut, I could not lock it and I was worried about security. I was told a locksmith would be there later that day. At lunchtime, I received a call from Keytek to say they had no one available that day and they would send someone Sunday or Monday. I pointed out that, if I had been given this information initially I would have gone elsewhere. It was then agreed that a locksmith would be there at 4 pm Sunday. He finally arrived after 6 pm. Keytek did not advise me that he had been delayed and I had to phone them for the information.

It would appear that Keytek do not have sufficient locksmiths available at weekends to carry out a quick reliable service. More...

The purpose of the visit was to replace a lock on the front door after all the keys had been lost.The locksmith who came was friendly and polite.
It turned out to be a tricky job, but was done very efficiently, The gentleman explained all that he was doing as he went along.
He wore a mask all the time and overshoes inside the house.
I think the price I paid was very reasonable and would thoroughly recommend this company More...
