What’s your interior design process?
Our initial consultation is free. We will discuss your project requirements and the correct service for you. After this we will provide a bespoke quote tailored to your specifications. Once we start the project you will receive design boards which show colours and general themes. These will then become your project boards which show furniture and interior items. Once we have agreed on the final design we will provide a breakdown of where the items can be sourced from and what their cost it. After this, if you choose we can purchase and fit the items on your behalf to realise your dream interior.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We don’t do any one particular style at Katy M Interiors and are open to lots of different styles and tastes. What we really care about is getting the right design for you.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with clients and seeing their dream interiors come to life!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love interiors and wanted the flexibility of being self employed to realise my design dreams. My husband is fed up of me redesigning our own home, so now I get to use up all of my creative thoughts on others!
Why should our clients choose you?
At Katy M Interiors we offer a friendly and personal service. We don’t work 9-5 hours so can be available round the clock for any design questions you may have. We like to develop a relationship with our clients as we feel it’s the best way of creating an interior you will love.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We wear masks at client meetings if requested and will use hand sanitiser before and after the meetings. We will take lateral flow tests before face to face contact if requested. We want everyone to feel safe but realise that interior design is often about real life contact.
Interior design
We offer an interior design service that is tailored to you. This can be anything from engaging architects to make your project journey come to life, to working with you on a floor plans that you may have already had approved by planning. Or if you have a room that just needs a new lease of life we can help you to make your dreams a reality.
Design advice service
If you just want a few hour of an interior designers time then we have the service for you. We charge an hourly rate of £50/hour. This includes coming to your home or meeting you virtually and discussing your project. There is no longer term commitment but there are services such as personal shopping if you wish to add them on. Nothing will be forced upon you and we can spend as much or little time on the project as you want.
Home staging
You may be struggling to sell a property and want to think about staging it so it can be as attractive as possible to potential buyers. Often what you spend on the home staging process you easily make up in the offer price.
Buy to let furnishing
If you are a landlord and need your property furnished we offer many levels of design package to suit your target market, from student let’s to high end rentals we can help you achieve your rental yields.
