My husband and I wanted some professional family photos with our 5 month old little boy and Kathryn didn't disappoint!
The shoot was a lot of fun and she was so lovely and patient when our little boy got fussy (he was super tired so getting him to laugh was hard work!) at times.
She's taken some wonderful photos and we're already planning on getting her to do another shoot for our baby boy's 1st birthday next year! :)

Kathryn will make you feel so comfortable in front of the lens, you may even forget she is there snapping photos of you. She captures compositions that are unique expressions of the particular qualities of light in the images she creates. Kathryn has an eye for detail, and passion behind everything she does. Kathryn would get 10 stars if Facebook allowed it! Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Just had our wedding photos back and sat there with our mouths wide open the whole way through. From the first time you meet Kathryn she makes you feel so relaxed and on our big day she made any nerves disappear in an instant because it was all about having fun and showing your love for one another. From laughing the whole way through we’ve got some really natural shots and I really cannot thank you enough. We had a great time with Kathryn on a family photo shoot a couple of weeks ago. She is so laid back and put us all at ease in front of the camera. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure that we had every possible combination of photos whilst also capturing some unexpected moments on camera that were really amazing. My partner, our 2 children and I had an at home family photo shoot with Kathryn recently and it was absolutely brilliant! Kathryn is so warm, friendly and beautiful inside and out ! I felt like I had known her for ages the moment she walked through our front door and I felt instantly at ease after feeling a little nervous as I don’t have my photo taken often at all! We have just recently welcomed our baby girl into the world, she is now 7 weeks old and our little boy is 2 and a half and thanks to Kathryn we now have the most beautiful images of us all together as a family of 4 in our home to treasure forever and I can’t thank her enough! Kathryn is a wonderful photographer with a style that is unobtrusive and captures the true spirit of human beings and their myriad emotions. Her compositions are creative and her shots candid and honest; they can be traditional and polished, or they can be contemporary and intentionally raw. This range is a credit to just how good she is behind a lens.

Without being overly gushy, she is also a wonderful human being who welcomes you into her her life not as a client but as a friend. She talked to me all through my maternity leave in the lead up to our wedding; suggesting shows to watch on Netflix to keep me occupied and we also met up to discuss the day and our expectations. She even did impromptu shoot with our then four month old son, capturing beautiful memories without asking for a thing in return.

On the day she was involved but subdued, she mingled but she did not interfere and because we’d had such a great laugh getting to know her in the build up it was more like we had an extra guest than a wedding photographer and that was the most important part for us; we went looking for a wedding photographer and ended up with a friend. We had a family photoshoot with Kathryn a couple of weeks ago and the whole experience was great fun. I wanted to take some professional photos of my children (aged 3 & 2) and am so pleased that we chose Katherine Anne Photography. Katherine found us the perfect location (it's surprising how quickly your mind goes blank when your asked "Do your children have any particular favourites?" ). Katherine's interaction with the children gained their confidence instantly and we had so much fun. Even when my two year old started having a diva strop the professionalism shown was great and the pictures turned out so much better than we'd hoped for. My husband and I did a photoshoot with Kathryn at the weekend with our 5 month old little boy and we had so much fun!Kathryn was so lovely and was so patient when our little boy got fussy. The shoot flowed naturally, nothing too posy or awkward and we felt completely relaxed. The only thing that took effort was getting our baby to laugh and not break our ankles walking over fallen apples (we had our shoot in an orchard)!If you need a photographer who will put you at ease, take awesome photos and have fun at the same time, don't hesitate to book Kathryn. Kathryn is both a lovely person and a fabulous photographer. She went out of her way to meet us at Stourhead and stayed with us the whole way round the lake (over 2 hours) taking 200+ photos. She managed to capture both my shy 2 year old and my boisterous 5 year olds personality's perfectly. The photos are amazing and we've ordered an additional 20 digital images on top of our deal making 40 in all (yes they are that good). What can I say! I've been blown away by Kathryn and her beautiful, beautiful craft. I was lucky enough to win a session with Kathryn this summer. To be honest I forgot all about it until she reminded me and I had to persuade my photophobic husband to come along and give it a go. We recently got married a shelled out on a highly sought after Photgrapher. I thought it would be nice to try Kathryn as she was she was so reasonably priced and we'd won the session, but I never ever thought we'd end up with such a wonderful experience and superb product. Akin most definitely to the work we'd had at our wedding. Kathryn surpassed all of my expectations. She made us feel completely at ease (Husband included which is no mean feat I might add). The results are simply stunning. The skill and passion Kathryn has is clear to see in the way she captured us that day. All our subtleties and characters beautifully captured. I had the opportunity to have Kathryn do a photo shoot with my boyfriend and my two dogs. Not only was she incredibly patient with my crazy pups, but she made my boyfriend and myself who are both a little awkward with photos feel very comfortable.
