I had my breast implants replaced on 23rd Dec 2021 with Dr Karidis.
From the moment I entered the hospital I was put at ease. The whole team were incredible at looking after me and a special thanks to Dr Karidis and his nurse Stevie were truly so kind to me and I am very happy with my results as I was 13 years ago when I had my implants first placed with Dr Karidis.

So here’s a genuine and honest review from my experience of using the Karidis clinic.

My operation was for a male breast reduction (hence the anonymous name). I’ve been considering this operation now for the best part of ten years and I’d had the problem (effectively man boobs) since I was a teenager. To say that it’s affected my life would be understatement and despite years of dieting, workouts and exercise they would not go. I’d decided that I’ll just have to live with them when I stumbled across the Karidis clinic from another review. I’d looked at hundreds of different clinics, with many having varying levels of positive and negative reviews. Then there was the European option which was quickly forgotten about after reading some horrific stories! After months of consideration, backing out and deliberation I eventually bit the bullet and decided to go for a consultation Mr Karidis.

My first consultation was over Zoom and it was informal, friendly and informative. We discussed why I wanted the operation and what I was looking for and then showed Mr Karidis my moobs. It was at this very point I realised I’d made the right decision in going with them. I was immediately put at ease and most importantly there was no hard sell. Just information that I could go away with and have a think. After the consultation there was no follow up marketing or sales pitching, just a simple “hope everything was fine” from their very friendly staff.

I then decided to go for a face to face and again, exactly the same, no hard sell and I felt that the ball was very much in my court.

After a small amount of deliberation I decided to go for it.

The day of the op and I was put up in a comfortable private room in the St. John’s wood hospital. I had a number of discussions with nurses and anesthesiologists who put my mind at ease as did the senior nurse Stevie and Mr Karidis.

The operation itself was painless and post op there virtually no discomfort even. The post op care was excellent and I was well looked after.

So the results, which after all is what it’s about! I couldn’t be happier. I’ve still got some work to do in terms of gym and diet but that’s all coming, but the difference is awesome. My biggest concern was that once the breast fat was removed I’d be left with saggy skin. Absolutely not the case. Part of the op is stitching the tissue inside for a night which helps it massively (a technique invented by Mr Karidis).

To say the operation is a life changer would be an understatement. It genuinely has changed the way I view my body as a whole and has given me the confidence to finally wear T-shirt’s without worrying what it looks like from the side (which used to drive my wife up the wall!!) and am finally happy to go swimming without feeling self conscious. My only regret is that I didn’t do this 20 years ago. I cannot recommend the Karidis clinic highly enough. You’ll be looked after throughout (post op after care, weeks and months later is awesome) and most importantly I’m sure you’ll get the results you’re after. Seize the day!! Get a consultation at least and see what you think.

Special mention should also go to Chloe who has been a delight in terms of booking up all the various appointments (a few of which I had to swap around when I had Covid) and also Stevie. I underwent three cosmetic procedures at once just five weeks ago and have nothing but endless praise and gratitude to offer all at Karidis.

Stephen my coordinator, Stevie and Romi my nurses, and of course Mr Alex Karidis were all wonderful, warm and professional from start to finish.

Three surgeries in one is a huge undertaking and not for the faint hearted, but I did feel from the start that I was in safe hands. It was slightly more expensive that elsewhere, but I feel it was definitely worth that extra cost for such incredible work and peace of mind. Mr Karidis is an artist and a genius!

Not once did I feel remotely pushed into these procedures, Mr Karidis was happy to allow me as many consultations as I needed to come to my own decision. I did do a lot of research on the procedures in advance, particularly as I was having so much done at once. I feel it is important to do that in order to be fully prepared for the long recovery. To be able to do that in my own time without being pestered was important and not to be underestimated.

Stevie and Romi are wonderfully caring, knowledgable and attentive nurses, and having them available to speak to and to advise 24/7 post surgery made the whole process that much more manageable.

Even at 5 weeks I wouldn't hesitate for one minute to recommend Mr Karidis and his team, they are all amazing. I am already ecstatic with happiness at the results, and if I felt I required further surgery at a later date I would be straight back.

Please don't retire for at least thirty years Mr Karidis!

I recently had a facial rejuvenation procedure involving surgery. Dr Karidis and his team were extremely helpful and professional. There was total transparency and no pressure throughout the whole process, I felt cared for and well supported especially after the event when I had a 24 hour phone line available to me to alleviate any concerns.

Knowing I wanted a lower facelift, I did extensive research to find a surgeon at the top of their field, especially in the area of stiches and scarring. After reading about Dr. Karidis’ career, his excellent reviews and media coverage, I decided he was the best surgeon for me.

Despite the initial nerves of undergoing cosmetic surgery, I trusted Dr. Karidis and his team to perform the surgery and I diligently followed all the post-surgery requirements to ensure a good outcome. I was not disappointed, and the result was beyond my expectations. I would also mention the St Johns & Elizabeth hospital was an excellent facility for the procedure. 1 month post op review. I could not be happier with the results of my new breast implants. From the moment I arrived at the Karidis Clinic I knew I was in great hands.

Dr Karidis knew exactly what my concerns were and exceeded my expectations with the result. One month in and they’re looking great and there is no sign of scarring which is just unbelievable. There is a reason Dr Karidis gets such great reviews and is a surgeon of the highest standard!

The staff at the Karidis clinic guided me along the way prior to surgery and made the whole process as simple and comfortable as possible.

One stand out was that I had a 24 hour emergency on call nurse who was there for me from the moment I arrived in my hospital room right up to my 2 week post op appointment. Stevie was such a calming presence and put all my concerns at ease, so a big thank you to her and Dr Karidis.

I am so thrilled that I got this done. I have hated my eye bags for so long and the last couple of years I have noticed more wrinkles when I smile. Having cosmetic surgery always seemed like something I would do in the future but as soon as I made contact with the Karidis Clinic the whole process was so easy from booking the first consultation right through to after the operation. I am only 4 weeks post op but the results even now look so natural and I look so more refreshed rather than looking tired all the time and most of the wrinkles have gone! I’m 4 days out from an operation and I am extremely happy thus far. Alex is known to be the best in the country at male chest surgery and I can clearly see where his expertise has been used. Have always been very conscious with how my breasts looked (especially for my age) after coming off the pill a few years ago and they had drooped significantly. Hated how they looked even with a bra on so decided we could do something about it. I knew about Karidis through a friend so booked in for a consultation. Mr Karidis himself is so friendly and very informative (and realistic) about what’s possible for your body type etc. We decided I could just have a mastopexy (uplift no implants) as I had enough breast tissue to warrant it. I was booked into surgery within 5 weeks after my consultation. Stevie Goddard was my nurse and she couldn’t have been lovelier and was so helpful before, during and after and always at the end of the phone if I needed her. I was out the same day of the operation and I couldn’t be more delighted with the result, it’s genuinely miraculous what he’s managed to do and I feel like I’ve been given a new lease of life. Pregnancy wasn’t kind to my body and after I lost all the weight, I was left with a lot of excess, loose skin, marked by stretch marks. And my breasts had lost all volume and dropped. It was a sensitive and emotional decision for me to get surgery to try and improve these things and I was very nervous. The results of the tummy tuck and breast uplift with implants are outstanding. In all honesty, I am truly blown away - I didn’t think it would be possible to get such a transformation. I don’t think I looked this good even before children. I’m so happy! I’ve never done anything like this before and I was afraid for a number of reasons. Would it look natural? Is it really painful? How long will the bruises last?

I’m so pleased with how amazing it looks! So natural, it’s astonishing when I look back to the before photo. It was painless, felt a little tight at first but no pain. My bruises lasted about 2 weeks and now 4 weeks on from the procedure, my scars (which are invisible when my eyes are open) are starting to fade.

I cannot recommend this clinic more highly.

I had V-Beam Laser treatment for rosacea. Before the treatment I had extremely painful and reactive red skin covered in marks/scars. I was so self conscious and always wore a full face of make-up. V Beam was super effective for me - the pain, redness and scars have totally melted away. The treatment has dramatically increased my confidence and I’m so grateful.

I had male breast reduction surgery (lipo & gland removal) with Mr Karidis around 4 months ago now. The results are amazing. I now have a chest that looks natural and well contoured. After just a couple of months i can’t even see the scaring, of which there was barely any to start with due to the tiny incisions made, its amazing. Now i can finally wear normal t shirts and shirts with confidence and feel so much better about myself, it has genuinely changed my life.
Mr Karidis has exceeded my expectations, i would fully recommend him if you are thinking of gynecomastia surgery. The surgery is carried out in a hospital setting with an experienced team, under general anaesthetic which was also a plus in my view as many others i researched were in a surgery/office setting under a local anaesthetic which didn't appeal to me.

From start to finish the customer experience was exceptional. Every member of the team not only did the job but went above and beyond.

As for the surgery itself, I am blown away. I always look to find the best person for the job and even 6-weeks post-surgery, I can confirm that I most definitely did. I'd been considering the surgery for a number of years, but now having had it done, I just wish I'd gone through with it sooner.

After extensive research, I chose to have my rhinoplasty with Mr Karidis. It all started as a teenager with a large nose, with name calling from one individual, the torment stayed with me, whenever I heard people laughing, I would assume that they were laughing at my nose. Well, I had my cast off yesterday and I am unbelievably happy with it. Although I have swelling, my nose is now shorter, my hump has gone and my nose is slimmer. The whole experience has been far easier than I anticipated, the removal of the nasal packs was uncomfortable and having the cast off was slightly sore due to bruising and swelling. I have received exceptional care and guidance from all staff involved, but my special thanks goes to Chloe and Stevie at The Karidis Clinic, I couldn’t have got through this without them, and of course Mr Alex Karidis. My experience I found to be meeting my higher expectations and surpassing entirely. I never thought I would have cosmetic surgery until I experienced years of unhappiness noticing more wrinkles and sagging build up around my eyes, I constantly looked tired even on a good nights sleep so I decided to do something about it and arranged a consultation with Dr Karidis.
He was amazing, honest, professional and I trusted his opinion. I had anxiety around the procedure having not had surgery before but I booked in and had a very pleasant and successful upper and lower eyelid operation. I was so pleased with the result that a few moths later I went on to have a tummy tuck. These two areas of my body were what was making me feel unhappy. The tummy tuck procedure wasn't as painful as I had anticipated and the recovery was quicker than I expected. I did what I was advised and rested up (difficult with three children and a puppy) but I now feel confident again to get back to wearing a bikini again which I haven't done for many years.
The after care was extraordinary. Lou and the other aftercare nurses were amazing. I was able to contact them day or night with any concerns I had which was a real comfort.
Not that I plan on any further surgery, I feel like I am done, but if I did there would be nowhere else I would go. Very happy and now poor client :) More...

I was really anxious about having my procedure - but Mr Karidis really is exceptional at what he does. He KNEW exactly the look I was going for with regards to my breast augmentation and I felt extremely comfortable in his hands! The surgery was AMAZING. I literally went home after 4 hours! My experience with Mr Karidis was amazing. From start to finish he was honest, realistic and reassuring. My surgery was during lockdown but he was always happy to speak to me and even saw me face to face a second time when I had a concern prior to my operation. The whole process went smoothly and the care I received from the nursing staff was fantastic. Of course I had swelling and bruising but by the time I had my 3 week post op review all bruising had gone and the swelling had reduced considerably. I was recommended to Alex by a good friend. I’d never had surgery before and I went in to have breast augmentation and lift , tummy tuck and upper Blepharoplasty. I am more than happy. I left and went out to lunch the next day. I had hardly any pain or bruising and the team and after care was fantastic. I have such minimal scarring compared to soo many I’ve seen. I'm writing this about 2 years late, though was browsing and thought I'd look up this page.
I was a training surgeon in London myself - I went to Alex because I knew his reputation.

I mulled it over for a year. I had a single lump (gynaecomastia), that wasn't particularly visible, but was painful and affecting my life (hugging people, laying flat).

I had the NHS option. I didn't want a junior surgeon or non-aesthetic surgeon doing something like this - I was worried about scars, uneven skin, body confidence, etc.

There's a difference between someone doing a job for its purpose versus someone doing it well.

You cannot tell I had surgery, at all. He actually did both sides of my chest, and removed some of the fat to make my chest 'even'.
To this day it is the best decision I've made. You cant tell I've had surgery, fullstop. I can take my top off and have my photo taken, I can wear fitted tshirts and my body confidence is 10/10.

The day in the hospital was like staying in a nice hotel, the recovery period was about 4-6 weeks, more like having done a gym session muscle ache and stiffness and compression vests. After those few weeks, your chest feels a bit numb, i guess the nerves have to regrow its a strange but actually pleasant feeling.

Within 3 months post op, you couldn't tell I'd had surgery, I was fully functional and my life was so much better, like a weight lifted.

It has been 6 weeks since i had my Gynecomastia removed from Mr Karidis and his team and i could not be happier with the results.

From start to finish the care and treatment i received was amazing. The first week or so after the operation i had some slight discomfort/soreness however this quickly passed. I am now 6 weeks post operation and i am extremely happy with how my chest looks and how quickly it has healed.

For anyone who is thinking about getting this surgery done i would highly recommend it and would definitely recommend Mr Karidis and his team. More...
