I have a fully equipped private studio at home for training and sports therapy. Outside training is based at local parks or seafront. I run small group session four times a week from BN2 area. Sessions include cardio, circuits with weights, flexibility and stretching. Massage treatments include Remedial, injury, trigger point and Lymphatic Drainage.

Within a few months of training with Karen I went from never having run before to doing weekly 5k runs (and enjoying them ! )and even doing the Brighton 10k ! The great thing about the group sessions is that everyone encourages each other no matter what their ability level. I started 1-1 and group sessions with Karen after many years of back pain and general muscle pain. Karen used her excellent knowledge to structure the initial sessions to take account of my low level of fitness and helped me see how exercise could help me feel better. Within weeks I felt fitter , my back was stronger and my well being was so much better. I'd tried gyms before and found them too daunting. Karen makes the sessions relaxed and fun whilst encouraging me to work towards new goals. I never thought I would enjoy circuit training and running as much as I do now ! Karen has motivated me to do other fitness activities as well in my own time which I would never have done before. If you want a down-to-earth, motivational and knowledgeable trainer then look no further than Karen! I worked with Karen for 10 weeks and she helped me achieve the specific goals of running for general fitness and well-being again, getting stronger and improving muscle tone and body shape. This is an update on my earlier review on Karen's training sessions which I started in October 2016. I am still training with Karen and I am amazed at my personal progression both in terms of weight loss, strength and well-being. I've been training with Karen for a few months now and within a short period of time, i went from really unfit to doing the 5km park runs.
I would not have achieved this in such a short time without her guidance.
Besides the running I get an all round great work out. I am feeling a hell of lot stronger in my body than i was a few months ago and am also feeling a lot better about myself.
Karen has also given me great advice about a myriad of topics from injuries to nutrition which have been very useful.

Karen trained me for 3 months and in that time I had gone from an unfit overweight physique to performing 5k runs in around 30 minutes, which for me was amazing. Using the skillsets Karen had taught me gradually building up both muscle and stamina allowing me to run continuously for longer periods of time, I found myself becoming more committed and thoroughly enjoying the experience, something I never thought possible with running.

After moving from London to Hove and not having exercised for several years I decided to return to training with Karen at KA Fitness Training. The best thing I have done in a long time, Karen is an excellent and knowledgeable trainer - she makes the sessions fun whilst really working your body to its full potential.
