Ronnie visited to help with Milo’s overwhelming need to bark and bark at anyone and everyone who comes to visit! On arrival, he received the full onslaught, quietly observed for a while then said he could solve the issue! He explained the reasons for the behaviour and what could be done to stop it - a simple but firm NO! He firstly showed us then we had a go! And it worked! We have had two sessions with Ronnie, helping us work on our daxie, Arlo's, reactivity with other dogs that quickly built up over the last few months, especially when out walking. Ronnie is quick to respond, always at the end of a whatsapp, and keen to help. You can see how much he loves dogs, and how much dogs love him - as soon as he stepped into our house, he established a great relationship with Arlo who hung on his every word! Ronnie has taken the time to remind us of the importance of the basics in training, as well as help us understand Arlo's behaviour. We have learnt so much and are already seeing an improvement during walks. In just two sessions we have gone from Arlo always being on edge, reacting, barking and pulling the lead even when a dog is across the road, to him now watching them eagerly walk by. By taking on board all the tips from Ronnie, here's to a summer of us bringing Arlo to the pub and him sitting calmly by our side! Honestly can't recommend Ronnie enough! More...

I can't believe what was achieved in one session with our very stubborn Jr x chiuaha and our playful cockerpoo pup. Ronnie took the time for Harley to adjust to him and settle before rushing into training. Ronnie was calm and didn't rush anything and took the time to answer any questions and trust me there were loads! continuing with advice given we started seeing improvements almost Immediately. Still work to be done and we'll be booking more sessions in very soon! Best decision we made booking a session in, and if you need help with your furballs I'd recommend in a heartbeat! More...

We started our training sessions 3 weeks ago for our crazy Cockerpoo!! Already we have seen a huge improvement in his behaviour he is a lot calmer and settles more this wouldn't have happened without the help and coaching from Ronnie. Ronnie has been helping with my 23 month Show Cocker. with guarding and adolescent problems. He responded to the request for help quickly and gave a home visit. Quickly he was able to diagnose the problems in both us and our dog. We now have a better understanding of K9 human relations. He has given us the tools to become effective leaders. Ronnie worked with myself and our cockapoo puppy Willow. We live in the North East so advice/training was given via facetime. She was jumping at us and biting/rough playing especially with our 4 year old daughter. I can not recommended Ronnie highly enough as we made huge progress with willow even from day one I. Ronnie worked with us and our 10 month old Bulldog John. Overall John is well behaved but in the house when people came round he would go nuts and we would have no control over his "friendliness" Ronnie worked with John and taught us so much, both with what to do and also why we were doing it, and suddenly it all made sense. Following Ronnie's guidance we have seen a huge improvement in John and we are now not exhausted when people come round as no longer have to chase around after him. Currently working with Ronnie and my 2 Great Danes. Particularly over excitement within the home with one of them, and the same but outside with the other! Ronnie is naturally great with dogs, he understands them, immediately establishes a relationship with boundaries and they like and respect him. He has given us tools/homework to do when he's not around and although it's going to take a lot of hard work from everyone, we're already seeing results which gives us hope for their future behaviour. I reached out to Ronnie at K9 Greatness for some help and advice in regards to my 3 year old black lab. I wanted to be able to walk him off lead but his recall is awful and despite being a Labrador he has never been interested enough in food to be able to use as a way to coach him away from other smells or dogs. Ronnie came to visit me and Buddy at our house to meet Buddy and get to know him! Ronnie was very friendly, made me feel at ease and Buddy loved him. Ronnie worked on ‘basic skills’ with buddy like sit, lie down and stay to get him interested in treats. During his visit he encouraged my 3 year old to join in to show buddy that instruction/commands come from anyone. Buddy of course showed me up and was loving the treats but Ronnie didn’t make me feel stupid about it he explained the ‘science’ behind what he was doing. We met with Ronnie a second time and he showed me some things to try to get me started on getting Buddy’s recall up to scratch. He explained to me how I can engage Buddy to want to react to me despite other distractions. When I took the skills and information Ronnie showed/taught me and buddy away to try we had fantastic results. Buddy has abit further to go but with just two visits from Ronnie he has come on leaps and bounds!! Ronnie gave me the confidence to feel in control with Buddy which with my physical difficulties has been amazing! Ronnie has checked in on us to see how we are doing, has recommended treats to try and is easily contactable if I have questions. I look forward to Buddy having another session with Ronnie! More...

I contacted Ronnie for help with my 6 year old Lab who is very excitable and pulled constantly on the lead giving me severe pain in my arm. Ronnie has been amazing! He very quickly gained the trust of my dog, calmed him, and got him focussing on things which earned him treats. The change in him after just a few sessions has been incredible! There is still a way to go with pulling on the lead, but I can already see such an improvement that I believe for the first time ever that we will soon be able to have pleasant walks! Ronnie really cares, and goes above and beyond to ensure the dog (and owner!) know what they need to do, and explains the reasoning behind the behaviour. I cannot recommend Ronnie highly enough! I have been having problems with my 20 month old working cocker spaniel, he had started to guard his crate by barking and growling. I contacted Ronnie and he was quick to respond and we arranged a home visit. Ronnie spent time listening to our issue and got to work straight away. He quickly gained the trust of our dog by using positive rewards for good behaviour and clear commands for correcting. Ronnie explained to us in depth why the dog was behaving badly and the methods he used to correct the behaviour to ensure that we were equipped to carry on with the corrective measures after he had left. Ronnie has been spending the last few weekends with my dogs. I have 1 cockapoo and 1 pomachon. Unfortunately I have allowed my dogs to rule the roost somewhat over the years and their barking to the doorbell ringing, out on walks etc was terrible and quite frankly out of control, especially my cockapoo barking around other dogs as well (this part is work in progress). Not only all the above my cockapoo suffers from bad separation anxiety. Ronnie has been fantastic!! in only 3 weeks I have already noticed a huge improvement with both my dogs. Ronnie has taught both my mum and I (who walks my dogs when I’m working) so much in a short space of time, to understand that I/we need to be the dominant owners and show my dogs that WE are in control and not the other way round. So far my dogs now aren’t barking no where near as much when the doorbell rings, we are controlling my cockapoo on a slip lead as well as my other dog and making them sit on walks and then get a treat when they do as we say (Ronnie has the BEST liver treats which I have now got too). Given we are only 3 sessions in, I cannot recommend Ronnie high enough. He is caring and very knowledgable and gained my dogs trust so quickly. If you need a behaviourist Ronnie is your man and great that he is local to Horley, thank you so much. My dogs are going to be so much better thanks to your support. The fact that Ronnie is also always checking in on how the training is going is great and he really does care! We share videos with him and he responds immediately with praise or further advice. Ronnie can provide the training and knowledge but we as the owners need to take his advice and put it into action daily for our dogs habits to change. More...
