If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT send your dog here. I repeat DO NOT send your dog here. The environment the dogs are housed is unsafe and unsanitary.
I took my puppy here to get socialisation and general manners, once arriving at the premises we were taken into the back garden where there was the remanence of what could be a dismantled dog kennel, piles of excrement all over the place, a large bag of dog excrement, general rubbish scattered about and what could be described as a children’s pool of stagnant water; that’s just the start.
Nicole then let her dogs out one by one, which all had traits that I would consider undesirable, multiple of which growled at my puppy, she then proceeded to release what can only be described as a dangerously out of control aggressive GSD. I have no woes about breeds and have had and delt with aggressive dogs before so do not find large dogs intimidating, the GSD immediately flew past Nicole and attacked my puppy which then set the pack of against my puppy. My puppy was screaming and trying to get away, my partner had to get a couple of the dogs of my puppy in the worry he would be attacked further.
After this I expressed that I was unhappy leaving my puppy here as this was an unsafe environment for my dog, and I do not believe Nicole would be able to cope with 7 dogs at once, including the blatantly aggressive GSD she was housing. Nicole immediately got her back and told us “We don’t know what we are talking about” “the pack attacking him is normal dog behaviour”. I then asked about a refund to which Nicole refused and said I signed terms and conditions understanding this which I did not. I never received any documentation regarding Nicole’s licenses or certificates let alone terms and conditions. After back and forth she said she would give a 50% refund which I am still waiting for.
I have contacted the local authorities regarding K9 balance training and behaviour, regarding the multiple issues at hand. I hope no one else falls for what only I can call a scam artist.

The results are outstanding, I rescued a 6 month GSD whom was very nervous around new people and would bark and some cases try to bite people if they came to close to her, after an hours Nicole showed me how to resolve this with small amounts of training everyday, a week later I'm able to have people walk past with no issues. I recommend her highly.

I cannot speak highly enough of Nichole and K-9 Balance Training & Behaviour - within a few minutes of meeting she had got the measure of our boisterous lab, Max, and had him walking to heal and eating out of her hand (literally) - amazing.
Nichole certainly knows her stuff and understands how to get the best out of our K9 friends.
She has left us after a greatly extended hour booking feeling much more confident on how to control Max and make his training so much fun.
We will certainly continue to use her excellent services and have no hesitation in recommending her services to other dog owners. Great service and great value for money.

What do you love most about your job?
What I love most is watching the changes in both dogs and their owners as they grow in confidence during their training. I enjoy providing the tools for dog owners to train their dog themselves and create a fantastic partnership.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I spend all of my spare time with my animals (over 100), and decided to make it into a career I enjoy more than anything in the world. I enjoy the flexible working and different dog cases every day - each one different and individual.
Why should our clients choose you?
I will work with you on a 1-1 basis, whether your dog is boarding or remote/ on-site training. Each session will be specifically designed for you and your individual dog and will be easy to understand, so that you can continue the training at home.
I have three resident dogs the all clients' dogs will interact with - according to their training level.
We have access to a private training ground and vast local countryside, alongside a large, fenced back garden.
Once a client, you will have direct access to ongoing support should you need it - and can always rebook follow-up sessions as required. Existing/ Past clients will have priority over new cases.
All behaviourist clients will be provided with a written Behaviour Modification Plan for their individual dog. This can be amended throughout the process, as required.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I am happy to provide remote services if required. This can either be via videos on Whatsapp, Zoom/ Teams calls, and/or via the old-fashioned telephone.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I tend to work on a 1-1 basis anyway, but I will not currently be entering people's homes unless there is an urgent welfare concern. All training will take place either remotely, 1-1 outside, or on a Board & Train basis.

Before any dog returns home, you are invited to a training session to learn and understand the commands and 'rules' to follow.
It is vital that owners understand you must continue to put the work in once your dog returns to you.

Foster Boarding
If you are in the difficult situation where you are unable to provide a secure, happy home for your dog for a short period, such as moving house, family illness, bereavement, extended holiday, etc then Foster Boarding may be what you are looking for, as an alternative to rehoming or kennelling the dog.
Please contact me to discuss your requirements, and if I have the room and can cater for your dog, I will happily do so.
During their stay, your dog will be treated as part of the family and so will join in training/ exercising activities, whether at home, in the countryside or private land.
