Juliette was amazing. She managed to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning at very short notice. The shoot was very relaxed and Juliette made me feel comfortable and at ease from start to finish. She paid a lot of attention to the smaller details (like combing my stray hairs!) and took her time to ensure we got the perfect photo. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
When it comes to people for Portraits & Headshots - ensuring the person to be photographed is relaxed, comfortable & feeling at ease is paramount. Take some "warm up shots" and giving direction is useful if they're not quite sure about positioning etc. Ask questions of the person to help them find the direction they want and need. Ensuring they are at the point of feeling confident with both with themselves and the photographer to ensure the best possible results for them.
