What’s your signature dish?
We don't have a dish but our signature Cocktail is perhaps the Chevy to the Levy, this was invented by us and tastes like grandma's apple pie in a glass!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We work with you to decide on perhaps 15 cocktails which suit your event, we offer a menu of over 70 but if there is something special that you don't see we can always accommodate. We are happy to alter names of cocktails to suit the event, perhaps a Mr & Mrs or a Truly Yours, Birthday Girl or Maggie's Margarita. So the menu is bespoke for you and your event.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting people and seeing them smile when they realise we really care about making their event extra special. As people watch the Ice Box being prepared the excitement that causes. Watching people take their first sip and the expressions on their face!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Lock Down! We have always had a great circle of friends who would come to any gathering asking what today's cocktail was going to be! This grew and Gary has taken courses to hone his skills, always a people person, this suits him so well. We started with our bottled cocktail delivery service and have since taken the step to convert a horse trailer into a mobile cocktail bar, a big investment for a start up company but it starting to show growth!
Why should our clients choose you?
We really care. We know that if we are catering for a party we want the best we can afford, we want friendly professional staff and not to pay over the odds. We certainly don't want a lovely cocktail out of a plastic cup, and so we took all this into consideration when setting up our business. We use the best quality alcohol within our price bracket, our glasses are lovely to look at as well as to drink from. When we cater for an event we treat it as if our clients were our friends and wish to give them the best possible service.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
If necessary we carry out a Covid risk assessment, there is always hand sanitizer on the bar and we do ask people to maintain social distancing where possible, we can offer some table service if necessary,
Mobile Cocktail Bar
We create delicious cocktails from our converted horse trailer "The Ice Box". We can cater for parties of up to 100 guests. Table service can be offered if necessary but we find most people enjoy visiting the Ice Box to watch the drinks being made and the added theatre of dry ice and smoke and bubbles. We serve high quality alcohol and only serve in glass which is how we enjoy a cocktail. We need a fair amount of space, an electricity supply and somewhere to fetch clean water. Set up takes a couple of hours as does break down but we are yours for the duration of your event, we do not set a time limit other than stipulated by the Licencing authority. We normal have 3 bar tenders/mixologists and 2 waiting/clearing staff depending on the size of your event. Of course we spend time creating your menu with you and making sure that your event be it a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or a party just because goes with a bang and leaves a brilliant memory in you and your guests minds.
