I'm so grateful to have had Julie capturing our special day. We married on 25th November and Julie went above and beyond to take beautiful pictures of our intimate elopement wedding. As someone who does not enjoy having photos taken and has never used a professional photographer before, I was really nervous at the prospect of having a camera in the vicinity whilst I was already feeling the nerves but having Julie there was wonderful, she made us all feel at ease and helped me navigate the day. Julie was our photographer for our elopement Lake District wedding and she was such a dream from start to finish! Julie was so professional throughout and was so lovely to speak too! Our photos are so beautiful and Julie captured so many unique moments of me and my husband just enjoying our walk around the grounds! My Wife Claire and I were fortunate enough to book our ‘Elopement’ wedding at Storrs Hall in November 2022. From the first consultation with Julie, to the Pre-Wedding shoot and the Wedding Day itself, Julie was wonderful.

Julie doesn’t just take photographs in the conventional manner, she is a true professional, an artist with a gift that allows her to capture those special moments in a relaxed way, which in turn paints such a beautiful story and allows your magical day to flow so naturally and in such an unobtrusive manner.

I have never been a fan of being photographed and generally find the whole experience very uncomfortable, but when I look at our Wedding photographs, I don’t see or recall awkwardness, I see love and I see warmth, and that wonderful day just comes flooding back to me. Each frame a constant reminder of a very special day so cleverly taken by a most gifted Photographer.

Our Wedding day consisted of myself, my (now) Wife Claire and Julie, and Claire and I both feel so lucky that we were fortunate enough to have come across her services. We couldn’t recommend Julie more highly.

Julie is a kind, thoughtful, beautiful person who truly understands her craft and delivers an end product that is magical in every way. Claire and I feel that we shared our Wedding day with a friend, not just a photographer.

I don’t know where to start. 
Thank you Julie- Thank you so so much for EVERYTHING you did for us on our wedding day. Nothing went unnoticed, all the extra miles you went to- every single step of the way.
Julie made us so comfortable and so relaxed and captured memories for us that will last forever.
It was just me, my husband, our daughter an dog and so Julie was a huge part of our day and we both couldn’t believe how incredible she was, how she instantly bonded with us to create such a comfortable atmosphere, how she couldn’t love the dog anymore and our daughter, she helped with everything, her hair, distractions and even helped get her dress on her. She ran back to the car when our dog pooped to get a poop bag, she knew the exact spots to get the best photos, she captured everything in such a natural way, nothing we did felt forced or unnatural.
All I can say is- Thank you Thank you Thank you Julie, the sneak peak photos (oh my god what an absolute album already) that you’ve already sent within literally a couple of hours- they’re so perfect and I am literally so excited to see the rest, what absolute magic she can create and capture.
Do not hesitate in booking Julie, an absolutely flawless lady with undeniable talent in every aspect of photography and people skills.

From start to finish with Julie you got such a personal touch, who you could tell from the start is so passionate about what she does, making sure it meets what you wanted and having the perfect memories. I always felt with Julie it was about your experience rather than a business transaction, no pressure on the day around time restrictions was always put at ease to ensure we had the perfect day. Having used Julie for our 10 year wedding vow renewal in an area we did not know so well her knowledge and areas to use were just perfect. I have always been disappointed with our original wedding photos (not done by Julie) that the renewal pics were so important to get three right - Julie nailed it for us!

Julie kept us updated post our day on when to expect the images and gave us a sneak preview within 24 hours of which were stunning, we could not see how she could have any more to send but they did not disappoint either! The memory stick received is a lovely touch.

Booked Julie for our Elopement wedding and can't praise Julie enough with how at ease she made us feel.
Had a phone call with Julie months before the wedding. Talked about what kind of photos she'd be taking with the surroundings and depending on the weather, then she offered me advice for hair and make up artists, which was a huge help and they were perfect too.

Julie drove us to the lake shore and we got the most amazing photos with the hills and mountains and lake in the background.

A fire stick was posted to us with our photos on and not just any fire stick. Arrived in a wooden box which was engraved with our names and wedding date on and the fire stick was wooden too.
It's the little details.

I’ve taken a couple of days to write this review as I’ve only just come down from cloud nine 😁 But I’d like to leave the best 5* review for Julie who was absolutely wonderful and so well hidden in the trees whilst my fiancé proposed to me on surprise view!
