Jonty responded very quickly, he was already in the area, and immediately carried out an urgent repair. Further examination of the roof showed the need for substantial renovation to ridge tiles and Jonty proposed a new approach incorporating a ventilation system via these tiles, which will be a significant improvement, and it was agreed to proceed with this.

Jonty phoned me within half an hour of my request and arranged to meet me 48 hours later (thanks to storm Dennis it was well neigh impossible to contact a roofer ! !!). He turned up on time, assessed what needed to be done and gave me a reasonable quote which we shook hands on.
