We provide our clients with all the relevant information to ensure that all approval processes are clearly understood. We will complete all the drawings and/or documents required by the local authority in order to gain the relevant approval, as your agent we also collate and submit the application as well as liaising with the local authority on your behalf ensuring that all aspects of the submission are taken care of.
Following consultation with the client, initial scheme designs will be developed providing a basis for discussion prior to a finalised proposal being agreed. Once the client has signed of the proposal we will prepare the relevant drawings and/or documents in order to satisfy the local authority’s requirements.
During the approval procedure we will keep you informed on the progress being made ensuring that you are aware of every stage of the process.
Building Regulations
Our vast technical knowledge ensures that all details and/or specifications required by Building Control are completed to an extremely high standard ensuring that the Building Regulations process is a quick and simple process.
A typical project would require the following documentation and/or drawings to be completed in order to gain Building Regulation approval.
A Complete set of Detailed Plans, Elevations and Sections.
Construction Specification
Submission of the Building Control Application
Liaising with the Building Control Officer
Co-ordinate Structural Engineer design (Where required)
Site Inspections
We can include a number of site inspections to ensure the works carried out on the project are compliant with British standards / approved drawings. These inspections act as a quality control measure, although they are not compulsory.
Regular inspection can be a crucial part of ensuring that the works progress as intended, both in terms of quality and compliance. The inspection process is separate from the contractor’s own supervision of the works. Inspection is carried out purely to give an independent view of the works either for the client or a third party.
