My fitness journey started strangely enough when I broke a kneecap. During my recovery, I fell in love with exercising functionally to improve my mobility within my own body. Throughout my journey, I have found bodyweight and kettlebell exercises to be highly effective and much more enjoyable than conventional weight training.

My first session with Josh was a real boost. I was nervous but also keen to know where I was at in terms of my levels of fitness and to see how I could improve my strength, stamina etc. Josh *really* took the time to help me practice different exercises, with the right technique, never rushing, but with a good dose of kindness and humour too. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
Through consultation and physical assessment so I can better gauge exactly where the client is physically. This enables me to construct a program that works towards achieving the client's goals whilst also ensuring posture is improved and injury is prevented.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
I find the secret is falling in love with exercise. Once you love what you do when exercising it no longer feels like hard work or a chore.

Fat loss
I can cater any training routine to aid in fat loss. This is achieved through the use of bodyweight and kettlebell exercises and how the overall routine is structured. Typically, achieving a fat loss goal goes in tandem with increasing overall strength.
Increase muscle mass
By structuring exercise routines and plans I can help you increase your muscle mass. I can also offer nutrition advice to help you on your way to packing on lean mass.
Improve strength
I can help you become much stronger by structuring a training plan around this goal. Strength and increasing in size don't have to go together if you're not looking to increase muscle mass, which I can cater for. I can help you improve overall functional strength or target a specific goal, such as obtaining your first pull up.
Endurance training
I can use my experience as an ultra runner to help you improve your endurance. If I can run 100km in a single day I can help you achieve new feats of endurance too!
