Jonathan is the most phenomenal photographer. Our photos are absolutely stunning and capture the special moments of the day perfectly. Jonathan and Isobel as a team are wonderful - they were so friendly to every single guest throughout the day and they were so great at sneaking those perfect pictures each time. It was lovely to be able to sit and chat through the day with them beforehand too - we felt like we had real friends joining us on the day! Jon joined us to photograph our special day and we're so glad we chose him! We eloped so it was just the two of us but we wanted some really special photos to share with our friends and family. From the moment we booked Jon (about a year in advance), his communication was fantastic, keeping in touch regularly and as we couldn't meet beforehand he even sent us a picture of him so we knew who to expect on the day. By the time our wedding day arrived, we honestly felt like we knew him already and which made us feel like a friend had turned up to photograph us. On the day Jon arrived when he said he would and did everything he could to put us at ease and get the best out of our photos. For two people who are not very 'posy' and not exactly comfortable in front of a camera, he really put us at ease and had some fantastic suggestions for photos. We had the pleasure of Jon joining us as photographer for our wedding day in September. Jon really put us both at ease with his relaxed style and wonderful personality. He stayed in touch prior to the wedding date with some lovely friendly emails, top tips and Blogs on previous weddings. Neither my Husband or I are particularly confident in front of the camera, but Jon was extremely understanding and really took the pressure off with a natural style, while still capturing some truly amazing shots. He knew the venue well and was able to suggest some amazing spots for photographs as well as taking on board some of our suggestions. We had some very special feathered guests join us for the wedding and Jon managed to capture some amazing shots for us including some behind the scenes images. He really went above and beyond to get the perfect shot including some mild paddling in the river!!! The turnaround on the photos was so quick we were still on honeymoon when Jon sent us the link to the online photo gallery for friends and family. We are so glad we found Jon. He was incredibly calm, patient and extremely helpful. His experience of covering weddings was evident. We wanted an informal wedding and he came up with all sorts of ideas for different shots, both romantic and quirky. He was easy to contact talking us through everything and had several different options price wise. We are so happy with the finished wedding pictures and everyone we have shown them too (lots!) have commented on the quality and the way Jon managed to catch every different emotion and show it through his pictures. Jon was up-beat, positive and helpful in the lead up to our wedding in December 2020. Everything was very uncertain due to Covid restrictions and he suggested we didn't pay the full deposit until we definitely knew we could go ahead.
The wedding went ahead as planned and the photos Jon took were perfect - very creative and he did amazingly well considering one of us does not like being photographed and there were only 13 guests! Jon took a fairly last minute booking for our elopement wedding - contact was friendly and personable up until the day. Jon immediately put 2 camera shy people at ease and quite obviously knew how to get the best shot. My wife and I got married two weeks ago and had Jon and Isobel as our wedding photographers. We were recommended them by a colleague who said they did a great job at her wedding, and we can say we have been equally as impressed! The pre-wedding shoot was a great opportunity for us to meet and we were instantly delighted with Jon’s friendliness and professionalism, on top of the great quality of pictures he produced. Communication was always very prompt and informative - nothing was ever too much and every question was answered in such a way that put us very much at ease amidst all of the usual pre-wedding stress! We love the fact that Jon and Isobel come as a duo as this meant we were able to have amazing coverage of the day, from the early “getting ready” pictures of both bride and groom to late night sparkler shots at the reception venue. They were always there when we needed them, but never felt in the way during the day. We left on our honeymoon a few days after the wedding and were looking forward to coming home to get in touch to see when we could see our pictures. We were so thrilled to get home and find that we had a package on the doormat containing a USB stick with all of our wedding photos on it, as well as an online gallery already set up with a selection of the photos to share with family and friends. Jon & Isobel photographed our wedding day in November and they did an absolutely fantastic job. Capturing moments we couldn’t even dream of looking back on. They are such a lovely couple and instantly made us feel excited and comfortable when initially talking to them about photographing the day we had planned. We had Jon and Isobel join us and take pictures of our wedding in September, not only did they produce incredible and unforgettable memories through the incredible pictures, but they were also such a joy and so much fun to have there, making the whole experience a lot easier and less nerve racking. Before the day we sat down and spoke to them both about what would happen on the day and what pictures we wanted to have, and from that they came up with and executed a perfect plan for the photography on the day getting all the pictures that we wanted and more! Jon & Isobel were our photographers for our wedding last May and we couldn't recommend them highly enough (in fact we frequently do ; -)). We were totally sold from the moment we met them by how lovely they both were, and how the style of the photos were so relaxed and informal. Jon and Isobel were our photographers for our wedding on the 27th July. From the moment they arrived whilst I was getting ready in the morning to when they left in the evening they were so friendly and professional snapping photos throughout the day.
