Old emotional and physical symptoms, either suppressed or forgotten, has to be removed before the entire system can let in the fresh. Like a house with forgotten rubbish, simply not knowing it is there, does not mean it is not there, causing unpleasantness within the house. By taking it out, while maybe unpleasant seeing forgotten rubbish, is necessary until it is removed. This means, old emotions and physical symptoms will be processed and come out, after treatment. Once its all cleared out, nearly all symptoms will go away, as they serve as distress bells only.

For the first week up to six months, this process will continue to happen, called the Law of Cure. Some patients may experience nothing but good feelings, while others experience severe old unprocessed emotions or symptoms, and will gradually get better. This is not to be mistaken as getting ill, but rather a process of disease coming out of the body.
