We recently had the pleasure of using John Broomfield Removals for our house move and we couldn’t be happier with the service that they provided. The team arrived promptly on the day of the move and wasted no time getting to work. They were incredibly efficient in packing up all of our belongings, ensuring that each item was carefully wrapped and boxes labelled accordingly. We moved house having been in our home for 21 years, during which time we’d accumulated more stuff than we moved in with, especially as we’d had kids there, etc. We used Broomfield’s for storage and removals, neither service we’d used before (we’d moved ourselves into our house). They were really helpful and guided us through what we needed to do in advance of the move date and we’re phenomenally efficient on the day itself. We had more stuff than expected that needed to go into storage and they even rearranged what we’d already put in to create more space. Will, Joe and the whole team who did the removals are a great bunch of guys: hard working, quick, efficient and a good laugh. My only disappointment is that Brexit changes mean they won’t be able to do our eventual relocation to France in a couple of years. They really are excellent. More...

The team moved us from our four storey house in London to Brighton including packing and storing everything for four months. Not only were the by far the most cost effective solution of the 5 quotes I got, having moved quite a bit in the past few years and used all the standard London high end movers - they were without a doubt the most reliable, flexible and nicest team we have ever had, and I am quite precious about my stuff coming up and down the stairs! I can say without a shadow of a doubt these guys are the first I will call whenever I need my pianos moving around, and as a professional classical musician my musical instruments are incredibly important to me. They did our whole house move, including both an upright Yamaha and a Steinway grand piano, as well as a number of pieces of furniture over three floors at both ends. As well as taking the time to reassure and explain the process they use for grand pianos, on the day they were respectful, careful, confident and cheerful. They were also kind to us and our two small children (who despite our best efforts did occasionally did get in the way)! We used the boys at John Broomfield Removals at the start of the month. From start to finish they were fab! They absolutely took the stress out of moving home for us.
