What makes a great website?
A great website is one that delivers exactly what the visitor and site owner need, with the minimum of interruption. Anything from a simple single page site to a massive multi-page site can be great, as long as the user can find what they need with a fast, delay-free and pleasing interface.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Do you know what you need out of your site?
Do you know what your prospective visitors/clients need out of your site?
Is there a problem/issue that you are trying to solve?
Do you have a plan/vision for your site now or in the future?
What do you love most about your job?
The opportunity to solve other peoples problems. And make things that are nice to look at and great to use while I'm doing it.

The chance to be in more control of my own destiny.
