Having just received my GCSE results the help I have received from JHTutorials is evident. I improved by 1 grade in maths to achieve an 8. My tutor was exceedingly patient yet challenged me to work at a higher level. She was able to vary the lessons so it wasn't a chore to do to such an extent where I opted to participate in further tuition!In Physics, Chemistry and Biology I achieved a 9. I previously found Biology difficult due to all the facts that I needed to recall but my tutor planned the lesson so I was able to take on the information in easy chunks and still acquire the knowledge of the entire syllabus.English was were I struggled the most and during my mocks in January I got a grade 5 and 6 in language and literature respectively. However, with the help of my tutor I was able to learn the important information of each book and poem whilst being able to write down my ideas and contain them in an essay whilst keeping inside the time limit and I achieved an 8 in both.I am extremely happy I used JHTutorials as each tutor is able to accommodate to your strengths and weakness with a patient, friendly touch.
