MY BACKGROUND

I am a fully qualified Maths teacher that left my previous school to care for my son and now two daughters. I have been tutoring for 6 years and have a vast array of experience from primary all the way to A-level. My family and I have recently relocated to Manchester and will now be tutoring from my home office in Sale. Along with online tutoring via Skype.

MY EXPERTISE

I completed a PGCE at the University of East Anglia in Secondary years Maths. I have had experience working at Notredame, Wymondham High and Sprowston High.
PERSONALISED LESSONS

I believe that learning is hands on and during my time at Sprowston I created many resources to help pupils become involved in their learning process. I believe that learning by investigation leads to greater understanding and the learner is more likely to remember and apply it. However, I do understand that sometimes there is a need for chalk and talk especially within certain topics. I am happy to adapt to the style needed by the tutee.
