What do you love most about your job?
There is nothing quite like the atmosphere on a wedding day. It's a wonderful blend of excitement, nerves, and emotions. Being an unobtrusive observer of these incredibly special moments is an honour and it brings me great joy. My aim is to capture the heartfelt and joyous essence of the day, by creating a beautiful narrative. It's all about you, your family, and your guests. The artistic direction, fashion, and architecture never fail to captivate me, I find it very inspiring :)
I love the storytelling aspect of photography the most. Weaving all the moments into a cohesive narrative and carefully selecting and organising an online gallery or rejigging the layout of an album again and again until it sings. It comes naturally and almost doesn't feel like work (thankfully haha).
What inspired you to start your own business?
I LOVE taking photos - it's an effortless process for me and this spills over to every couple. I'm at ease and that makes everyone around me feel relaxed. Also of course the freedom it brings, I can travel the world, see amazing locations and take beautiful pictures. What's not to love?
Why should our clients choose you?
I strive to imbue wedding photography with a cinematic, editorial flair. My photographic style blends reportage with more composed and directed shots, resulting in an authentic and polished final product. A friend calls it "the varnished truth, you, but better". It's such an important day, you might as well look stunning doing it.
