I had bedroom walls with poorly joined plasterboard so that even with a flat emulsion finish, the joins were very obvious. I stripped the walls back to the plasterboard, and wanted my walls skimmed so that the joins wouldn't be visible, once repainted.

After looking into a few plasterers, I chose John to do the job. He turned up at the specified time on the agreed day, and did the job in a morning. After waiting for the plaster to dry out, I painted two coats of thinned emulsion and two coats of my finished colour in flat matt.

The walls are now perfectly flat, with no obvious blemishes or lines, which is exactly what I wanted.

John himself was professional, friendly and answered all questions I had about finishing the walls with emulsion.

I would recommend John without hesitation and would ask him to do further work in my house. More...

John has just completed some patching and plastering in a few areas of my tenement flat, including a complete ceiling re-plaster. After visiting to provide a quote and advice free of charge, we set a price and date for the work to be done. John arrived at the arranged time and worked very quickly to fix and fill a number of large holes and channels left by an electrician, achieving a very good finish without having to completely replaster whole walls.
