By the time Jay and I had spoken for the very first time, another Lawyer (who is based in London) had just turned me away; she claimed that my immigration case was impossible. Jay, however, had paid close attention to the details that I had presented in my initial email, discussed a route of action with me, and here I am -- 10 months later (despite COVID-19 delays and a more complicated-than-average case) -- holding my UK residency permit!
