Lovely accommodation for cats. Lots of space for them to play. Our two cats stayed last week. Was a little upset that no one could tell me how they got on during their stay - being bank holiday there was only one member of staff about when we picked them up. A big thank you to all at Ivy for looking after Bobby so well. The kennels are so clean and airy and safe and the staff are so caring and nothing is too much trouble. He had lots of walks and kisses and cuddles which made it a lovely time for him. We would highly recommend these kennels. The staff are caring and gentle with the dogs and obviously enjoy spending time with them. Everyone is friendly and helpful and really put our minds at rest when leaving our dogs for the first time. The kennels are spacious and extremely clean. We thought the outdoor kennels were fabulous and our dogs settled in quickly and had lots of outdoor space to explore. What a lovely place to take your dog or cat! Friendly, approachable and knowledgeable staff who will cater for your animals needs whether it be medication, special diet or a lovely run in their enclosed paddock! Our dog Molly boards quite regularly, she loves going and never looks back. She is always very happy when we go to get her back and has never looked as though she has been unhappy can't recommend this kennel highly enough

Our anxious 10 month old labradoodle (Matilda) came to Ivy after trying a few kennels and we were very apprehensive as she normally cries, yelps and refuses to "speak" to anyone or take food. Well I don't know why I was so nervous.... on her trial day she got to meet lots of friendly people who took extra time to let Matilda approach them in her own time and make her feel secure and by the end of the day she was playing with them and giving sloppy kisses. She has continued to grow in confidence and goes in with a wagging tail and giving kisses � this makes us as owners feel so much more comforted and at ease leaving her here! My 2 Yorkies hadn't been in kennels for over 5 years. I was very anxious but Ivy Kennels are fantastic. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Staff are lovely, the dogs rooms are kept spotless . My two came home as happy as they went in. This didn't happen in the previous kennels we used hence why we stopped using it !! Wouldn't hesitate to use Ivy again. Thank you everyone !!! More...

My three dogs stayed here for 9 nights and the tears were welling up on the journey to collect them as I was so worried and anxious but I needn't of worried. They were as happy as Larry and seemed to enjoy their stay. I love the openness of the kennels also. I wouldn't hesitate to book them in again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of them. The Team at Ivy have looked after our dogs since 2011 they are professional and reliable.
Kate & Zain can be a bit of a handful (pampered pooches) but the team know just how to deal with them.

I put my two boys Rex and Reggie into the kennels as I was attending my brothers wedding, I would recommend these kennels to anyone.
The staff were amazing, friendly and nothing was to much trouble, kennels were clean, they were walked twice a day, and the staff put photos up on their Facebook of the dogs so you could see them, amazing.

I have had great experience with my dog staying here, after not visiting a kennels till the grand age of 10. She is sometime a awkward character, but they have managed her perfectly, and even wash blankets for you if the have got dirty, keep up the good work

Leia always has a fab time at Ivy Kennels, she comes back full.of energy, clean after a bath and looking as bright and healthy as when we drop her off. The staff are superb and we have no worries when she is there. It was the first time that we have been away on holiday since we rescued Archie (our jack russel ) we were very nervous about leaving him let alone leaving him in kennels for a week.

However upon arrival our nerves and and doubts that we had about leaving him dissaperd. Once he was out of the car we were greeted by the most friendly and welcoming staff. They really know how to take care of the pets you love.

They showed us the kennel that he was staying in and give us a full run down of how it all operates.

When we returned archie was having that much fun he didn't notice us at first! So he definitely had a good time!.

I really would reccomed the kennels to everyone and Archie can't wait to go again next year. More...

We have no hesitation in recommending Ivy Boarding Kennels and Cattery. Our dog had to have veterinary treatment before he went into kennels and the staff took on his after care with his medication and visit to the vets. I visited unexpectedly to staff while he was boarding, the staff were on their lunch and immediately met me, friendly and showed me to the kennel, the kennels were immaculate! i.e. i walked in and Sat on the floor to cuddle Sam! I was really impressed. Ive popped up on a previous occasion to have a look not long after they opened and they were all busy cleaning and walking. I would recommend them without hesitation. my 2 rottweilers stayed here for 1 week last summer, was very good with payment, loved every dog equal that came into the kennels, kennel was spaceious for them both. ..baring in mind they are both big dogs!! and my dogs came home very happy too, no behaviour change what so ever. My dog is a regular at this kennels and i would recommend it to anyone. The service you get is incredible. They get the best care possible there. Walked twice a day (have seen this myself) and you can ask for extra walks as well. I recently boarded my dog and cats at ivy, and was very impressed with the service i received. The kennels and cattery are both purpose built recently, they were lovely and clean and there was no doggy smell. The dogs are walked twice a day ( i observed the walks taking place when i visited for a look round) and i was offered extra walks aswell. As the food i feed my pets was available at the kennels i didnt have to bring my own.the staff there were very friendly and helpful and my dog loved them! Ivy Kennels is a small run business with not so many kennels. I have used these kennels many times and have always been pleased. On your first visit you are welcomed to view the kennels and walk around the site. I found them to be very clean, in good working order and warm inside. On one occasion I used the kennels over the winter when it snowed and the under floor heating was extremely reassuring. On initial registration the staff create a profile of your pet, including emergency contact details, eating habits, and vet details. They also check vaccination cards every time you visit and I beleive will not accept dogs without an up to date record (especially in regards to Kennel Cough). They provided food for my dog (in the right quantity too) and have accomodated in the past me bringing my own. The site is located on farmland and the dogs are walked twice daily around the site. Each time I collect my dog he is just how I've left him .... happy as ever. The price is reasonable at £11 per day and you can pay by card or cash. I would recommend these Kennels to anyone. More...
