Really impressed with the guys from Install Greener Solutions. The service was outstanding beginning with Mark (nice chap), who provided all the information, designed various solutions suitable for our property with no pressure put upon us to make a decision there and then.
The installation crew consisting of 3 roofers and 2 electricians were very pleasant, respectful and got on with the job explaining along the way what was required and why.

I would like to say thank you to Laurence and his team at Install Greener Solutions.

I had initially had a quote from Tomato Homes, they offered me equipment that did not suit my needs even though I had made my needs quite clear, salesmen who clearly did not know what they were talking about and whose sales strategy was not MCS compliant. I was also informed he had no bonus incentives until I tried to cancel and I was told I lose my deposit to pay for his quote time. All of the above reported to MCS and HIES and internal investigation launched.

I made some enquiries on Facebook Solar Panel UK and found Laurence, he came out the same day as he was in the area to give me a quote for 3k less he was able to offer me 4 extra panels, 15kW of extra battery storage and an 8.6kW inverter and even a new car charger, he listened to my needs, designed the perfect system and was always at the end of a text or phone to respond to any worries any time of the day.

I am still learning but I am very impressed with the quality of the install, his team of scaffolders, electricians and roofers and a credit to Laurence and his company. Laurence is open to modifying the system to suit your needs, he offers an honest quote, good quality equipment, he will tell you if you don’t need something and does not try to rip you off, which so far in my journey is a rare find in the solar world. Mark was great throughout, his initial consultation was amazing and we eventually decided on a set of 10 panels 5 on each side to best optimise the sun all day! The installation is very tidy, the inverter and cells are in the garage and fit very neatly. They were finished with fitting it all by 1 o'clock, a very efficient install. I can highly recommend install greener solutions. Mark explained how the system works. All the questions I asked him were answered in a way which i understood. There was no pressure selling what so ever. The installation team were brilliant. They had a couple of issues with my small loft hatch and old uneven roof but they just got on with it. Just had 10 solar panels on roof 1 inverter and 5kw battery pack in my garage by greener solutions only 1 day install on contact with mark was very knowledgeable about solar talked me thru the process straight forward enough in process of supplying me my completed certs so I can send surplus energy back to grid and get 15p per kilowatt instal was straightforward scaffold came day before install engineers worked well together as a team no problems company seam to have the knowledge and experience to complete the job no pushey salesman would give them 10 out of 10 for their advice and experience and install knowledge mark is a great leader in all he does

I had solar panels & battery installed by Install Greener Solutions just over a week ago. They dealt with all the paperwork (applying for a G99 certificate etc. ..) and when this was approved earlier than anticipated they called to ask if I wanted an earlier install date which was great.

Scaffolding was put up a day before install and was removed a week later. There was a mis-communication issue between Lawrence and the solar panel installers in that the bird mesh was not originally installed, but this was rectified a few days later.

I had a few queries re some of the settings on the app and Lawrence was fairly quick to make some adjustments.

In regards to the performance - I'm very happy with the solar panels, we've had a few sunny days and I've seen on occasions that the actual output has matched what was expected. With regards to the battery, the jury's still out. Mine have a DoD (depth of discharge) of 95% which means you should be able to use 95% of it's stated capacity but for some reason the system switched from battery to grid once they reached 15% overnight. I'm hoping that this is just a setting issue that Lawrence will be able to sort out (I haven't messaged him yet about this). Other than that the system is performing as expected. More...

After IGS contacted us via Bark we met with Craig who was very thorough and went through multiple options to suit our household. Once we accepted the quotation the installation was completed a week later. The fitters were friendly and helpful, listening to our requests. Laurence visited to handover and run through all paperwork and the SunSynk App. Laurence has also provided a very good after sales customer service. The IGS quote was the lowest we had from 3 local companies, and it even included the bird mesh and a solar diverter to the emersion heater. We paid a deposit and then waited about 6 weeks for the installation. The MSC accredited
electricians arrived on time and did a good job in a friendly manor over 3 days. They even fixed our faulty emersion heater for free! They showed us how to use the Solar generation phone app. Laurence gave us the handover pack and
emailed the certification on the same day. Laurence has been friendly and helpful throughout. Having solar PV has made us feel happier about boiling the kettle, having showers, putting on the dishwasher and driving our electric car. More...

Install Greener Solutions are one of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I had originally accepted a quote with another to install a full PV and battery system on my house. This company took my deposit and 2 weeks later had not requested acceptance with National Grid.

Whilst waiting for this other company, I was browsing forums online and came across Laurence who was answering multiple questions day and night for people with queries about going Solar. You could see from his responses that he was very knowledgable, but was not on their advertising that he had his own installation business.

I dropped his a message and things took off, he answered every question I had and even ones that I didn’t, even answering late in the evening. Laurence’s heart is in the game, and puts all of his time and effort into it. Before I had even signed a contract or paid a deposit, Laurence had requested DNO acceptance from National Grid.

He was not a pushy salesman, unlike others who tempt you with mass discounts by paying a deposit today!! He will work with you to find a solution that works for you, whether or not you have space and budget restrictions.

He came over to do a quick check that his measurements were correct and told us about how the whole process would work. Something that could be see as complicated was simplified.

We were contacted by Laurence to let check that our install date was still okay with us and we were still happy to go ahead.

The scaffolders arrived a day early as they were in the area and they checked it was okay to make a start. It was all erected the day before installation date as promised.

The installation day came! Excitement! Alex and his colleague were straight in the van unloading and transporting the panels and other pieces of equipment around the property ready to install. By 8am, they were straight up on the roof installing the rails and lugging the panels up.

Mick the electrician had arrived. Another member of the team who does not mess around and gets stuck straight into the job. A man with over 30 years experience! He knew exactly what he was doing and did everything meticulously. Checking that we were happy for x y and z to be done this way and cables to be run that way. He even fitted my EV charger for me without charge. These are the little things that really show they are a business that likes to go the extra mile for the customer.

Once the installation was completed, Laurence then comes over and gives you a handover pack containing all of the information you need relating to the installation and contact details for himself if you need any further help or assistance. this is not a business that cuts ties with you once they have finished and have your money, but still answer questions days after the installation.

Overall i am very pleased with every step of the process. This is a business that cares about their customers and are less focused on getting paid, but more focused on getting the job done right first time and to the highest of standards.

At last, all now installed. Took my time to fully understand how a solar panel system worked, the various products, also the market and supplier options. Our new system comprises 14 solar panels, 3 storage batteries plus unit to heat hot water from solar. Very very pleased with the supplier and installer. No hick ups and all planning executed like clockwork as per the plan and expectation. The supplier was InstallGreenerSolutions.com and we can fully recommend them if you are interested. It was a pleasure dealing with IGS and Laurence to invest in my Solar solution. I spent many hours and meetings to discuss my needs and spoke with several companies. Always seemed to get the same standard reply, until I spoke with Laurence. IGS were very factual and actually listened to my needs rather than push the standard quick and easy install.
Got several solutions back from Laurence who worked hard to maximise my output. We discussed in detail each solution, until the right one was agreed on. The install went extremely well within planned and strict timetables (On my behalf) which Laurence kept too and delivered. Scaffold came down within the required time to keep neighbours happy.
Communication was excellent with lots of back and forth on different ideas and application questions (G99).

The Sparky's (Mick and Dan) were excellent and were happy for me to ask questions. They gave me a great demo on the inverter and how it all works, which was great.

After months of searching for a solar and battery installer I met with Lawrence just over a week ago. Tonight, I'm sitting at home, throwing energy back to grid all whilst using 3 AirCon units and a typical electrical load to the house. .... Free of charge! ( in fact I'm being paid for It ! ). It feels like science fiction. The install was straight forward and the electricians and roofers were a pleasure to deal with. Fast, no nonsense workers. In just a few hours it was all done and I received instructions from the lads about downloading an app to monitor my free energy and cash profits back to grid. Honestly it's so straight forward and it feels good to know that rip-off electric companies are no longer getting their way with egregious charges to our household. I can even store a few days energy into the supplied batteries.
If you are seriously considering Solar give this company a chance, meet with Lawrence and have a proper sit down chat with him. It's under no obligation and he is clearly a Solar power enthusiast and expert.
Having considered many solar quotes I know I've saved money and increased our systems capabilities significantly. All the relevant compliance certification are included too.
Don't listen to the negative people either because they clearly don't understand what's on offer with solar power.

I’ve been looking a solar systems for some time. We obtained a quote from our energy supplier which gave me a base to work from and then we made active enquiries with neighbours and friends re companies and prices. I then saw a Facebook advert from Install Greener Solutions(IGS) and sent a quote request to which I received a response almost immediately. Discussing my requirements Lawrence, the owner, said he had just completed a job round the corner and how much it had cost. I asked what it would cost for a battery backup solar system and was asked for my postcode and house number from which he could do a estimated quote.
Lawrence then called round to discuss it further and explain the options fully. I told him that I was interested but may not have it done until September. At no point did he try and pressure me and he said he would leave it with me.
I then looked at my finance and decided that I would actually like it fitted as soon as possible. I contacted him and now two weeks later I have an installed system that was fitted in a day. I suspect that was because I live in a bungalow so a house would take a bit longer. So on the day of installation at 8am the roofers and apprentice electrician arrived and started the installation. Mick, the qualified electrician, arrived at 9am. They explained everything as they went along. The roofer had to slightly alter the layout of the panels but we discussed it first. The roofers worked until 5.30pm and Mick and his apprentice, Dan, were here until the system went live at around 6.30 pm. Mick wasn’t entirely happy with how the panels were fitted on the roof and has arranged for the roofers to return on Monday. This was due to a misunderstanding re a problem with the ridge tiles which actually need re-seating to allow the brackets to go where Mick wants them and me thinking it was a maintenance problem. I was presently surprised when Lawrence agreed to cover that cost(£500ish).
Mick is one of the most professional people I have had do work for me. No detail was too much and he and Dan explained absolutely everything to me.
Lawrence had only taken a £500 deposit from me and I have just completed payment this morning. I have ended up with the same panels as my energy company quoted on,a larger inverter and a battery backup half as large again for over £3,000 less than they quoted.
Everyone was very good they cleaned up fully after themselves. If you are looking for solar definitely include them in your consideration I can’t recommend them strongly enough. More...
