I am a qualified teacher with long experience in tutoring in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from KS3 through to A Level. I can also offer Mathematics at Degree Level.

What do you love most about your job?
Encouraging a sense of "ownership" of learning in each student - the best teachers are those who wake up the deep desire to learn in their students.
When a student achieves this, they are able to learn at a much deeper level and make connections with other subjects they would not have otherwise seen.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was not unhappy teaching in schools - in fact I loved my job. But, like many others in the profession, I found that I was spending far more of my "work" time involved in things that were not adding any value to my students. For me, the joy of teaching and my own professional standards were not satisfied.
Tutoring has allowed me to really help individuals grasp and master a subject, and for them to then go on and have a far more enjoyable and fulfilling educational career.

I do this 100% of the time now - it is my sole job and I am committed to not only reaching as many students as possible, but also to continuously improving what I offer. Both technically and professionally.
