From the first initial phone call, Ryo has listened carefully to our needs and he has been incredibly accommodating. For example, he kindly accepted to meet us at our hotel for the couple photoshoot and then he met us later at our wedding venue for the evening festivities.
He even stayed longer than the agreed end time as he realised that we were running a bit behind schedule for our first dance….
So we can’t thank you enough, Ryo, for your professionalism, your kindness and your discretion, as well as your willingness to stay longer and make sure we were fully satisfied! What do you love most about your job?
I'm a documentary wedding photographer who loves to tell a photographic story of your day in the most natural way possible.
I love the emotion that weddings are filled with. All those fleeting moments, from laughter and excitement, to anxiety and joy. Your wedding day is full of memories that you'll want to treasure forever, and I'd love to capture them for you.
I'm all about capturing beautiful moments on camera, as they happen—from your first kiss as newlyweds, to cutting the cake, or your dad's emotional speech. I am there to preserve the moments that you'll want to remember forever.
What else do I love? Embarrassing stories of the bride and groom, emotional moments with family members, funny interactions with guests and friends, dancing like no one is watching, or even crying like no one is watching!
Wedding photography is much more than pretty pictures—it's about telling a story through images that lets you relive every moment of your day whenever you look at them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I photographed my first wedding in 2012 and I absolutely fell in love with it.
I had a blast and the whole experience was so exciting for me, but at the same time, I knew there was something missing: I wanted to create something unique that would stand out from all the other photographers out there.
After much thought and careful consideration, I decided to start my own photography business called Indigo Images and dedicate myself to creating stunning images of couples who were in love and wanted to show that to their family and friends.
I’ve since photographed over 300 weddings, and I still love every minute of it! Each time is different, but the one thing that stays constant is how much fun we have together on the day.
If you’re looking for a photographer who’s passionate about what they do, loves meeting new people and seeing them blossom into their own unique selves, then we should definitely chat!
